TLDR: dragons are cool and this is a fun deck that is meant to be a big, but manageable, threat in a casual game. a little removal goes a long way.

The result of years of constant tinkering and playtesting from my original Ur Dragon precon that got me into commander. This is by design a casual deck, even 5 years ago when I played a lot big creature decks were pretty average performancewise, and I can't imagine that has gotten better since. If you like dragons, if you like a deck that goes large, this is about the best I have gotten the Ur Dragon to function in a mid power level group. I have found and also purposefully tweaked the deck in a direction of not being able to handle heavy interaction well. I general I enjoy games where everyone gets a chance to play and be a part of the game, and while this deck can do some ridiculous things, it will rarely come out of nowhere and sweep the table by turn 5 or 6 with no warning. Your opponents will usually get a turn to attempt to stop the flood, and while it can overpower other midpower decks, this can never by its basic function be considered high power. That being said, this has been my pet deck for a long time, and as such I have spent some money on it to bring certain powerful cards into play that the deck does not need to function properly, and can easily be swapped to bring this much more in line with that midrange power, 10-15 turn commander game level. Tappedout's new ranking system calls this a level 3, upgraded precon deck, and I think that's about right.
