Ahhh yes, Weaponized Life Gain.....I have a friend that loves life gain strategies, so I decided to make him his own EDH deck that he will actually enjoy piloting. I went with Ayli because that ability is insane, and you can do fun things with her.

Some of those fun things are.... using Tree of Perdition to drop someone to 13 then gaining anywhere from 30-40 life by sacrificing the tree to Ayli. That gets even more spicy when Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is on the field. Similar idea with Gift of Immortality, The Gift is even better when thrown on Sidisi, Undead Vizier or Solemn Simulacrum. You can double the value of sac effects with Dictate and Defiant Bloodlord. Use cards like Hangarback Walker and Hangarback Vampire( Elenda, the Dusk Rose ) for tokens, so you can then machine gun stuff into the shadow realm with Ayli....or you can just get your life total up somewhere ridiculous and just one shot everyone with Aetherflux Reservoir. There are a lot of fun little plays you can make with this deck.

I did put in hated life gain cards like Serra Ascendant and Divinity of Pride. Also, instant win cons like Felidar Sovereign and Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond for the infinite drain combo so a less experienced player can stumble into a win piloting the deck.

Considering switching out the Cloak for Boots. Also, just I cut Bruna and Gisela for two more lands, because it was the responsible thing to do(wamp wamp). I was kind of going for an Angels and Demons sub-theme, but I may have lost that while testing and making edits.
