“People are more difficult to work with than machines. And when you break a person, he can't be fixed.” ― Rick Riordan, The Battle of the Labyrinth

Deck Objective

The goal of the deck is to be continually drawing cards and then casting the cards you just drew for free in order to draw more cards. The combination of Jhoira and the Cost Reduction cards is the primary way to achieve this goal. As you draw cards, you'll benefit from the Draw Synergy cards, and as you cast your artifacts for free, you'll benefit from the Artifact Synergy cards. The Artifact Synergy category also includes the cards that you'll be casting for free off of the top of your deck in order to continue to fuel the Jhoira draw engine. Primarily, you'll be winning by dealing damage with Psychosis Crawler, Reckless Fireweaver, Niv-Mizzet, Parun, and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. If you're not able to get any of those going, you'll easily be able to deck yourself and win with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac. Finally, if neither of those strategies get you the win, you'll end up being able to overwhelm your opponents with a massive board presence.

It should be noted that the deck starts to play solitaire between turns 5 and 8. If you're in a playgroup of other people who want to be able to play the game, then you should bring this deck to the table only on occasion.
