Throne of Geth
version 3

Deck Intro

The main goal of this deck is to take advantage of Geth's main ability stealing from our opponents' graveyards by ramping into obscene amounts of mana and destroying their library.

We want to be stalling the game for the opponents while filling their graveyards, giving us plenty of targets for Geth to reanimate and then mill again. Milling, discarding, and removal play a big part in this deck's design.

Mana

So we've got a ton of ramping, removal and recursion, but we need something to do with all that mana. Geth's reanimate/mill ability is the obvious thing to sink it into, but there are other fun things to do with it.

Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief is an awesome card to pump all that mana into. We can use her to remove an opponent's threats while making her big enough to take someone's head off. Steel Hellkite is another good option, as it's one of our only artifact/enchantment removal spells in our deck.

We can also dump that mana into Everflowing Chalice for more ramping later on, Black Sun's Zenith / Killing Wave for removal, Diabolic Revelation to tutor up combo pieces, or Exsanguinate as a finisher.

Utility

Aside from the straightforward ramp, remove and recur theme, there are some other cool things going on in this deck worth looking at.

One thing I wanted to do was to be able to sacrifice the stuff that I'm stealing from opponents to get some extra value from them and maybe steal them again later, so I threw in some sac outlets.

Another thing I wanted to do was take advantage of Geth's evasiveness, so I included Sword of Feast and Famine to put him on a 3 turn win clock.

UTILITY CREATURES
Bloodgift Demon - Phyrexian Arena on a stick
Disciple of Bolas - life gain, card draw and sac outlet
Harvester of Souls - card draw
Hex Parasite - shuts down Skullbriar, planeswalkers, storage lands, and some enchantments
Kokusho, the Evening Star - a decent sacrifice target; mini Exsanguinate on a stick
Myojin of Night's Reach - indestructible when you need it; empties hands and fills graveyards
Nether Traitor - decent sac target; carries a sword well
Sheoldred, Whispering One - pure board advantage and evasiveness
Wurmcoil Engine - potential removal; life gain is needed in black; value remains after a board wipe
Vampire Nighthawk - a good deterrent against attacking creatures, and can carry a sword if needed for a bit of life gain

ARTIFACTS & ENCHANTMENTS
Expedition Map - mainly for finding Cabal Coffers
Mimic Vat - reduce, reuse, recycle
Rings of Brighthearth - copy an ability of Geth, Drana, or any number of creatures or artifacts
Trading Post - sac outlet
Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension - game over
