This is my take on a stax deck for cEDH / high power games

Main goal is to play pieces that stop your opponents doing combo things, and then beat them to death over the course of a few turns.

Cards like Gavony Township and Shalai, Voice of Plenty help to pump the team, and Elesh Norn and Hoof serve as big finishers.

I will update with a proper guide at some point, but generally speaking you want to play relatively aggressively, slam pieces down and start swinging ASAP. The 2 and 3 drops are generally better than the 1 drops, so anytime you get a Mana Crypt or Gemstone Caverns start you ideally like to keep (as long as you can power out a 2/3 drop on t1).

So I've had some time to play this quite a bit on a lovely cEDH server (linked below!) and have been pleasantly surprised at it's performance.

https://discord.gg/xsth8bKQ - cEDH for Frogs - hop in and send a message, everyone's super friendly and getting a game is pretty easy! Fully proxy friendly as well

However there have been some cards that aren't quite doing enough, so I've replaced them (via proxies) with better options. 1. Plains ----> Savannah (pretty obvious upgrade in proxy friendly groups) 2. Forest ----> Gaea's Cradle (again seems strictly very powerful, especially to power out some of the bigger creatures + mana sinks) 3. Dryad Militant ----> Eladamri's Call (to help find game enders - lack of tutoring really hurts the stax out vs Sisay decks I found) 4. Fragmentize ----> Worldly Tutor (I love fragmentize, it just wasn't doing enough, swapping for a card that gets a live card seems good) 5. Akroma, Vision of Ixidor ----> Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite (board wipe/pump + Living plane combo to shut opponents off lands) 6. Cataclysmic Gearhulk ----> Living Plane (gearhulk has been good 1 time to stop artefact spam, but otherwise has severely underperformed for me - there was a temptation for actual factual cataclysm, but I'm keen to try Norn + Plane first) 7. Apostle of Purifying Light ----> Samurai of the Pale Curtain (not having targeted yard hate feels odd, but generic stop graveyard stuff is usually better in this instance) 8. Minimus Containment ----> Song of the Dryads (tough decision here, as they both ramp opponents. However only Yasharn stops the treasure being able to sac, and other people will likely want to remove the big pig as well. Song does the same thing but is less reliant on other stax pieces to suceed) 9. Sylvan Caryatid ----> Joraga Treespeaker (not fully sold on this yet but will test and see) 10. Forsake the Worldly ----> Rule of Law (as someone in the discord pointed out, you're running all the other RoL effects, why not RoL?) 11. Froghemoth ----> Archon of Valor's Reach (frog just hasn't performed as well as I hoped. With the addition of some other beefy threats, why do we need it?)

I'm also considering Kamahl, Fist of Krosa for the mana sink and Yisan, the Wanderer Bard, for tutoring stax, but again I am yet to be fully convinced when we have stuff like Shalai that does similar ish things (and also stops people targeting anything else)
