This Panharmonicon-on-a-stick deck seeks to abuse the everliving crap out of every juicy ETB effect in black green and blue.

This is a toolbox style deck that can adapt alarmingly quickly, switching from ramp to aggression to control and back again blink of an eye. It is designed to outgrind its opponents through sheer value and the suite of creatures has been carefully chosen to reflect that game plan.

Pros

  • This deck does not rely on Yarok whatsoever. It wants to play ETB effects, he simply doubles them, he does not enable them. So if opponents want to remove him, so be it, we can win without him.

  • This deck is incredibly flexible and has an answer for almost anything, thanks to its toolbox style search effects like Birthing Pod.

Cons

  • Torpor Orb type effects really hurt.

  • Having Yarok as a General draws some hate even before he hits the field, so keep that in mind.

Powerlevel

  • High Powered Casual with Combos and lots of interaction, but no fast mana.

  • Can put in a turbo to ramp into expensive spells and end with combat damage via Craterhoof Behemoth or combos via Deadeye Navigator.

The Gameplan

  • Focus on Ramp in the early game.

  • if you can, try to get Thassa, Deep-Dwelling on the board early, she acts as a second secret commander which is harder to get rid off than removal-magnet Yarok, the Desecrated. You can do lines like Neoformor card: eldritch elolution to find her easily.

  • Start policing the board in the mid-game with ETB Removal Effects like Acidic Slime.

  • Abuse card draw and tutor ETB effects to fish for the finishers or answers, but dont overextend. Keep some resources back in case of a wipe so you can rebuild easily.

  • Look to resolve a Craterhoof Behemoth double trigger and either win outright or cripple your opponents too much to come back.

  • Alternatively, assemlbe Peregrine Drake + Deadeye Navigator for infinite mana and then pair navigator to another creature like Acidic Slime or Agent of Treachery to destroy all opposing boards completely.

Infinite Mana Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake

    Requirements:

Peregrine Drake soulbound to Deadeye Navigator and available.

    1. Blink the Drake for 2.
    2. On reentering, Drake triggers his ETB and Deadeye triggers.
    3. soulbind the two again, then resolve the Drake trigger to untap 5 Lands, making sure at least one of them can produce .
    4. Tap the 5 Lands for Mana
    5. Repeat from Step 1 for Infinite mana.

Panharmonicon + Peregrine Drake + Venser, Shaper Savant Panharmonicon can be subsituted by Yarok, the Desecrated or Virtue of Knowledge.

    1. Cast Drake, Panharmonicon doubles the ETB.
    2. two drake triggers enter the stack.
    3. let the first trigger resolve and untap 5 lands.
    4. While the second trigger is on the stack, tap all 5 lands and use 4 of the mana to flash in Venser, we still have 1 Mana in the pool.
    5. Panharmonicon creates two Venser ETB triggers on the stack.
    6. Return both Drake and Venser to your hand.
    7. Let the second Drake trigger resolve, untaping 5 lands.
    8. Repeat infinitely, gaining 1 mana in your pool per loop.
    9. Extra: use Cast Venser again, bouncing himself and an opponents permanent, and repeat this until no opponent has a board left.

Payoff Deadeye Navigator + Venser, Shaper Savant

Using the infinite Mana generated, blink Venser for a arbitrary number of times to bounce all permanents your opponents control, taking over the game.

Agent of Treachery + Deadeye Navigator

Like above, blink Agent as much as you want, but instead of bouncing permanents, steal them!

    Acidic Slime + Deadeye Navigator

Like above, destroy permanents instead of stealing or bouncing, this also hits lands, remember!

Deadeye Navigator + Gray Merchant of Asphodel

Can be blinked infinitely for lifedrain. OR Cast any ETB draw such as Baleful Strix and blink it repeatedly to draw your whole deck, and then use Gray Merchant of Asphodel to win the game.
