The Integrated Necro-Alchemy and Bioartifice Lab is headed by Professor Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist, and his magnum opus, Associate Professor Kraum, Ludevic's Opus.

The lab specializes in the creation and animation of creatures with unusual and desirable properties. Despite our large body of foundational work in the field of skaabogenesis, our recent publications detail the methods required to create a wider diversity of both organic and non-organic creatures, including Spellskite, Stuffy Dolls and the Thrummingbird.

The lab houses several prominent researchers at present. Nin, the Pain Artist is researching the physical limits of our creations to identify the optimal components for each entity. Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and visiting professor Saheeli Rai are investigating new methods in bioartifice with the aim of duplicating our most Prized Amalgams, and perfecting common core components required across all of our creations. While not stationed in our lab directly, we are grateful to Padeem, Consul of Innovation for providing funding and treasure tokens for many of our projects, and to the National Science Board of Innistrad for keeping us in business by granting us rebates on our War Taxes.

We are required to state that while every effort is made to ensure that our Robber Fly, Walking Sponges and pest tokens are not harmed during our experiments, the nature of our work dictates that we can only comply with ethical regulations within the scope of appropriate carcass disposal. Optimal candidates will at minimum have experience handling Soul Conduits and Razor Pendulums, though our lab is well equipped for you to pursue a wide range of emerging topics in the field on any combination of organisms. Notable alumni of the lab include Stitcher Geralf, who previously worked with us on sourcing materials for the Prized Amalgam. He has recently secured tenure at the university of Thraben.the
