Going for a very hateful version of Mogis. Centered primarily around enchantments and a few creatures that put the opponents in a very tough spot. Starting off in our enchantment department we have some VERY heavy hitting enchantments. Incrimental loss of life is the name of the game with this deck. Things like Manabarbs , Burning Earth , Citadel of Pain and painful quandry are good examples of what the deck is trying to accomplish, including the commander Mogis, God of Slaughter .

We have a good 6 or 7 cards that state "Players can't gain life" which plays really well into making the most out of our painful enchantments. We also play a little heavily into some oppressive enchantments as well like, Oppression , Descent into Madness , and Bottomless Pit . While we do run no lifegain effects we also run ways too keep ourselves ahead of the lifeloss with Polluted Bonds , Gray Merchant of Asphodel , Bloodchief Ascension , and finally Exquisite Blood . Usually we will tutor for Exquisite Blood , Bloodchief Ascension or Polluted Bonds . Usually it WILL be Exquisite Blood . Doing so will make sure EVERY instance of our opponents loosing life gets us life. Gray merchant? Double life. Polluted Bonds ? Double life. Torment of Hailfire , sulfiric vortex, Manabarbs , Citadel of Pain , Ankh of Mishra , vial smasher the firce? Yes, lots of life to be had here.
