Kykar is a great General, since it opens the door to different and partially overlapping deckbuilding paths. This version is for the 1v1 Brawl of Core 2020 Standard. It capitalizes on the case trigger, in particular by Planeswalkers.

The Walkers in Core 2020 Standard are quite good and the Jeskai wedge gives access to almost all the most powerful. They are strong standalone cards, so in case we will have to cast them without having Kykar in play, the gameplan can proceed almost seamlessly.

Besides the Walkers, the support slots of the deck are filled with the best removal, wraths and generically powerful instant and sorceries of the Jeskai wedge. The deck operates mostly at sorcery speed (barring a resolved Teferi, TR) so the counterpells are avoided in favor of the most powerful blue sorceries and steal effects.

The wincons of the deck are:

• running away with one or more Planeswalkers
• beating in the air with a swarm of small flyers
• burning the oppo's face with Electrodominance or Expansion / Explosion : big mana from Spirits / rocks / Sanctum of the Sun , copy with Ral, Storm Conduit .
