Hello Everyone and welcome to my Scarab God EDH deck!

Primer

The color combination of offers a fun take on the game. is a great color for card advantage, thievery, and counterspells. gives you access to a lot of board control, excellent tutors, and a great ability to swarm the board. So if you enjoy card advantage and tutoring, then this is the color combination for you!
The Scarab God is an interesting new take on the Dimir color combination. This deck allows you to go wide with build options. You can build with The Scarab God's first ability in mind by going with a zombie tribal idea with control mixed is, or you could go with a reanimator type of deck with mill and control in mind thanks to his second ability.

The Scarab God's last ability will also make the command tax a thing of the past. Is inability to be completely killed makes him very easy to cast the later you go in the game. If he is countered or exiled, you can just put him back in the command zone at little to no cost to you.

Strengths

The strengths of this deck include its resiliency to counter magic and board wipes and its flexible gameplay. There are so many different combos in this deck that it is impossible to stop them all. The entire deck synergizes well together so it makes life very difficult for the opponents.

Weaknesses

Graveyard hate can be very annoying for the deck, but that does not stop the horde by any mean. We run some counter magic to help stop board wipes and graveyard hate.

There are three different strategies to take with my take on this deck.

The Zombie Hoard - The amount of zombies you can create and pump up is ridiculous. You are able to pump your team and swing for the win as quickly as "humanly" possible.

The Ability - The Scarab God's ability is very powerful with powerful enter the battlefield effects. When milling your opponents, it is very fun to steal your opponents best creatures available at the time.

Combo - There are a ton of combos in the deck and most of them can just win the game on the spot.

This deck is full of combos that can win you the game on the spot. Every combo here can be considered a win con in some right or another.

Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth + Torment of Hailfire: Infinite life loss

Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth + Mind Grind: Infinite mill

Diregraf Captain + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar : Infinite life loss

Altar of the Brood + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar : Infinite mill

Grave Titan + Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + Diregraf Captain: Infinite zombies and infinite life loss

Grave Titan + Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + Altar of Dementia: Infinite mill

Grave Titan + Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + Altar of the Brood: Infinite mill

Endless Ranks of the Dead + Paradox Haze + The Scarab God : Lots of killing

This deck is a lot of fun if you enjoy playing dumb combos with a fun sense of aggro in the mix. Its very resilient and is super annoying for the rest of the table. Also don't forget to make great zombie and afterlife puns while playing to have all the fun in the world.

If you like it, leave a comment and +1 because that always helps!

Hopefully y'all enjoy my version of The Scarab God!
