Who is Bell Borca

Bell Borca, or BB as he will henceforth be known, is a */5 who's power changes based on the converted Mana cost of cards exiled the turn. Take note of each card exiled and his power become equal to the highest cost exiled for the turn. This counts any card, exiled from anywhere and belonging to anyone.

Also BB exiles the top card of your library at the beginning of your upkeep and you can play that card that turn

So why play Bell Borca?

Built in card advantage. Having BB out let's you draw an extra card every turn, only better yet, your not actually even drawing it, so you don't have to worry about any of those nasty anti draw cards

In addition to that, even at 0/5 BB is a decent wall who can block most threats. The deck doesn't run alot of high Mana cost cards to exile itself but it does run a fair bit of exile removal. So if you play against some friends who like playing big stuff "oh hello kozilek", their pain can be your gain when you attack with a super sized BB for a turn.

Onto the deck

There are two main themes in the deck. Number one is exile removal. In a world where graveyard decks are super prevalent and powerful, exile makes it much more difficult for your opponents to get back important cards. And if BB gets a fat power boost for a turn, well bonus.

Secondly is impulsive draw. Having tested This deck a fair bit now I have to say, I've really underestimated impulsive draw and judging by the price tags on these such cards, it seems alot of other people have to. For anyone who has no idea what I'm taking about, impulsive draw is basically like a temporary draw, where you exile the card and generally you have the turn to play it (though sometimes longer), or else the card remains exiled. I started adding these cards as an extra little way to take advantage or BB's first effect and after some experimentation I've actually found this effect much better then I expected. Let's take "Act on impulse" for example. Three Mana to effectively draw three cards, but you have to play those cards this turn. Even in blue, the undisputed champion of card draw, three Mana is not drawing you three cards without some sort of stipulation, and I don't even consider "Act on impulse" one of the strongest impulsive draw cards. Even better are Commune with lava, light up the stage and ignite the future as they give you all the way until the end of your NEXT turn to play the cards and Commune with lava in particular is a powerhouse as it's an instant, so you can dump all you Mana into it before your turn and then immediately have all your Mana available to play the cards.

Win cons

There are two primary win cons in this deck

First is the heliod, sun-crowned + walking ballista combo

Second is kiki-jiki + village bell ringer/combat celebrant
