As a fellow Mizzix player I can give you some insight based on my experience. Based on your build I would take out Mizzix's Mastery . I know, it is a fantastic card but since you are playing so many X costed spells you can't really take advantage of it since it forces you to play them without paying their manacost which means that X is equal to 0.
Here is a list of cards I have in my deck which work pretty well (in no particular order): - Blue Sun's Zenith this card can be crazy with enough counters. I even managed to kill a player by making him draw 80 cards with it. - The Mirari Conjecture get back your precious spells and unleash hell. - Invert / Invent basically playing it for Invent. - Apex of Power with enough experience counters this just wins the game. - Karn's Temporal Sundering This can honestly be any extra turn spell but this has the bonus of bouncing an annoying permanent. I had one lying around and I put it in. - Jaya's Immolating Inferno This one is really really good.
Thanks for the list since it showed me some cards that I had completely forgotten about so I hope that I helped you as well. Happy spellslinging!

TheGeneralAdvisor thank you very much for your considerations, you have given me a lot of food for thought.
I agree with your view that Wheel of Fate probably doesn’t earn the place. The more tuned the deck has become, the more suspend has been situational (need to cast it in the first few turns otherwise it’s a dead card). This might be a good cut to try Apex of Power . My only reservation is ten mana is a significant investment as would normally be expecting to win (or have been knocked out) by then. Certainly worth trying though!
If I could afford a Gauntlet of Might I would definitely swap out Extraplanar Lens . I have lost count the number of times that it has ramped me to a win when the early game had been thwarted. I also plan to pick up a Grim Monolith just to tune/speed the deck up a bit.
Goblin Bushwhacker is always cast for its kicker cost as a 2-mana, single turn haste enabler to combo off. Goblin Ringleader is a holdover from when it was more tribal based deck, and your probably right it needs removing. Moggcatcher is there to tutor up Skirk Prospector or one of the haste enabling goblins. With this list’s lack of tutors, I would definitely think she earns the spot to stay.
I used to run Aggravated Assault , but took it out to lower the curve. Now that the deck has lots of ways to produce infinite mana, I think it may be worth testing again.
I have tried Anger but could never consistently get it in the bin and don’t have space to dedicate for it to work. Hopefully a more efficient haste enabler than Ogre Battledriver comes in time and I will drop it.
Thank you so much man, your comment was awesome!

I think I would speed the deck up. You have a lot of control here, and if your meta needs it that’s fine, but cards like Stranglehold , Blood Moon and the like are all very slow. It’s basically skipping a turn to play them and hope that nobody deals with it, and they don’t actually advance you winning the game. Wheel of Fate is way too slow as well. As a personal opinion, I also find cards like Extraplanar Lens very clunky and vulnerable, and they rarely speed the game up faster than a Gauntlet of Might . Power is a fine substitute although I think it’s probably too slow for what you’re doing.
Sword of the Paruns is a slow combo piece that I probably wouldn’t run over the other options you’re already running. Goblin Bushwhacker , Goblin Ringleader , and Moggcatcher can be cut as well. You don’t have enough gobos unless you recruit them and it’s not worth a slot in the deck for that synergy. Finding another card draw would be much better. Bushwhacker isn’t necessary; you just have more efficient ways of winning. I think even Boggart Shenanigans could be cut as it’s somewhat redundant and slows the deck down.
If you find yourself going infinite pretty quick (which is the goal obviously) Apex of Power will get you there. It’s easy to cast (sometimes just with a ritual or hymn) and should finish the game for you. Aggravated Assault is pretty standard for Krenko combo as well.
You already have most of the cheap rocks aside from Grim Monolith , so I’d probably add that one. Also Final Fortune and Last Chance are essentially Time Walk for a deck that really just wants another turn to finish the game. Anger is a better haste enabler than Ogre Battledriver and you can add Cathartic Reunion to give you another discard outlet.
I think as a guideline for straight combo decks, a card should answer a few basic questions:
Does this card help me win, and if so, how fast is it compared to the rest of the deck? (ramp, lands, tutors, card draw, turns)
If this is a combo card, is it the most efficient one I can run? If it’s not, is it worth having the redundancy?
If it’s not a combo card and it’s not helping me win faster, why is it in the deck? (Meta, utility, maybe some recovery)
I’m sure there’s something I missed but hopefully this is useful to you.

A few cards worth adding...
- Crystal Quarry
- Cascading Cataracts
- Prismatic Geoscope
- Bringer of the Black Dawn/Bringer of the Blue Dawn
- Baneful Omen/Twilight Prophet
- Ramos, Dragon Engine
- Painful Truths
Cards I think you should consider cutting...

The summoner may be easy to kill but it's far from weak. 1 summoner can end the game in a swing or two if it isn't dealt with immediately. And for ever removal spell they keep in to deal with it, that's one less counter spell to deal with Apex of Power or Overflowing Insight. Just food for thought. Thanks for your input.

Full of fun effects and flavor, but you don't call things to my attention for flavor shenanigans. You call things to my attention for cold, ruthless efficiency.
First of all, you have cards that pull you in directions that the deck...just isn't going. Malfegor wants you to discard your hand, but you like having a full hand of tricks. Ashnod's Altar wants you to sacrifice creatures, but most of your creatures aren't expendable. God-Pharaoh's Gift wants you to reanimate things smaller than 4/4s, but most of the things you'd want to reanimate are bigger. Not sure you have enough cards (dragons and instants/sorceries) for Bladewing the Risen or Augur of Bolas. Fraying Omnipotence hurts you just as much or more as it does the other players, and Apex of Power is neat in theory, but with the number of big, expensive things you're running, you'll usually be casting only one card off of it. Gate to the Afterlife wants you to have things dying, but your things are too expensive to kill so haphazardly.
Then there's a few things that just suffer from the scale of EDH. Tormenting Voice can do work in mono-red, but you have blue. Play blue card draw. It's just...better. Even the cheap stuff. Hell, Chart a Course is a bad option and it's almost strictly better. Eternal of Harsh Truths doesn't do all that much here, just drawing you a few cards...whopee. It's EDH. Nobody cares. Likewise, Undermine has pretty much no upside over Cancel, and if you can, I'd try to find a better counterspell. For Elder Mastery, I'd be hesitant including it, because it bares your throat to removal or tempo plays for not...too much gain, because if you can leverage it to advantage, you're probably already winning. Sadly, except in niche cases, Wit's End isn't super effective in EDH because it won't hit for more than a few cards in almost all cases.
And never forget in EDH, your general matters. When you flip Bolas, you get a super powerful 'walker and an endless stream of cards. To fully take advantage of this, play removal, a few cheap counterspells, and most importantly, MORE RAMP. You are a very top-heavy deck. You gotta double down on that ramp; you'll always have something to do with your mana, especially with Bolas in the helm.
I have more optimizing comments, but those are the big glaring problems I see. Others are suboptimal things that you might want to keep for fun and trolling (I know how you play).
For card suggestions, peruse Lord Bolas. It is a rather expensive list, at times, but it can give you an idea of how to work with the Ravager as a commander.

Despite full knowing it isn't gonna be anywhere close to top tier. I really want to build something in standard with Omniscience (O.S.). My criteria is that O.S. has to be either the MVP or at least a viable alternate win condition for the deck. I'd appreciate it if people posted decklists running it, give suggestions or just share their thoughts below.
I'll post some decklists as I finish them but for now here's some of my rough concepts:
- UG version of the standard 'Elf Ball' list running multiple O.S. and a Nexus of Fate. All the elf mana dorks+Beast Whisperer/Vanquisher's Banner. Ramp into O.S. and draw you deck.
Salvager of Secrets/Naru Meha, Master Wizard/The Mirari Conjecture + Blink of an Eye/River's Rebuke/Quasiduplicate/Unexplained Disappearance+ Diamond Mare/Diligent Excavator etc for post O.S. infinite something.
Nexus of Fate turns
I'll still be adding stuff to this list as people suggest things.
