• March 21 2020 Edit * Thanks to Facebook's Shiloh Bell-Jessup for recommending Phyrexian Devourer for this deck.

Now what to remove to make room for it? Hmmm...

My second attempt at an original deck. Goal was to make a "75%" power deck. Got pretty close!

Back in 2013, I was struck by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice and it's Commander potential, so began this deck for it. Naturally it was a Lifegain deck, and it has certainly won its share over the years.

To change it up, in late 2018 I tried swapping Rhys the Redeemed with it in the 99 and made it the Commander instead, making more of a token deck. I tried some other cards out in the 99 to support the token version, but I missed the Lifegain the Trostani deck did so well. So, I went back to it's beginning with Trostani in command! Further brewing of the deck since then have resulted in it's current form.

Heavy on Enchantments, resistant to many threats (even Infect), the deck is known in my playgroup for getting "out of hand" rapidly. As with all creature-based decks, it is vulnerable to removal, but the protective Enchantments help it to survive and prosper! It consistently places a mass of tokens out on a turn with both the Green and the White doubling cards in the deck. The Life total becomes a significant resource, with it providing several means of powering win-conditions.

The rising Life total isn't a secret one can keep -- it does tend to attract the attention of the table! If you don't like drawing the attention of your opponents, this deck isn't for you... :-)

"What do I call it when I summon one creature, yet sixteen appear?" She paused a moment, then smiled. "I call it 'Friday'." --Princess Nianna, Enchantress of the Order of the Realms

This is the 5th of 15 decks I have posted here.
