Sorcery

Put four 2/2 red and green Satyr creature tokens with haste onto the battlefield.

Hey! Really loving this deck list. A few cards I'm curious about are Skullclamp, Fall of the Titans, Brass's Bounty, Awaken the Woods

I guess I'm surprised to see some high MV token generators like Revel of the Fallen God and Invoke the Ancients in there.

Harvest Season, Animist's Awakening, Explosive Vegetation, Revel of the Fallen God, Growing Rites of Itlimoc  Flip or Cryptolith Rite provide even more mana so you can cast bigger spells; I like adding more mana dorks to this so that you can use them for mana or later conspire ramp spells. Additionally X spells get really dank Jaya's Immolating Inferno can be a ridiculous finisher if you can put enough mana and conspire it. Shamanic Revelation or Harmonize can also give you some really good card draw, even just using Shamanic Revelation after casting Wort gives you 6 cards! In Red/Green. For more spicy, and a little less budget picks, I'd recommend: Lotus Cobra for those crazy ramp turns, Skullclamp lots of 1/1 tokens that can be turned into card draw, Pyromancer's Goggles who doesn't love copies?, Throne of the God-Pharaoh if you tap to conspire and then get a deal X trigger for copying spells it really adds up fast, if you'd like I can put my Wort, the Raidmother list up on to tappedout and you can add any other cards you like the look of.

Great concept for the deck. Really like it. Having access to Red and Blue is a huge boon outside of your usual W/G white weenies token armies. Having said that I think there are a few cards you can add (on a budget, too) to give yourself more tokens with which to punch through.

Release the Gremlins is a good wipe and gives you tokens. Red also has Devils' Playground and Revel of the Fallen God . You also need a good finisher. Craterhoof Behemoth is ideal, but End-Raze Forerunners and/or Decimator of the Provinces works equally well. Trostani Discordant is also amazing for you. As is Storm Herd . All in all, I think this is a great idea on it's way to greatness.

Hey! You told me to check out your Wort deck on Facebook, it looks pretty good and I have some suggestions

Chandra, the Firebrand is great in this deck early or late game because it allows you to copy spells, for instance I was mana screwed so I used her minus two to copy Manamorphose (another amazing addition if you're willing to go get one) and used it to cast Wort and copied a Harrow the next turn.

Also, spells like the mentioned Harrow with additional costs, when you copy them you don't need to pay the additional costs so if you copy Harrow you pay 3 and sac a land to find four untapped basics. Crop Rotation has a similar effect.

Dragonlair Spider for token benefit when an opponent casts spells, maybe Omnath, Locus of Rage to get some benefit from the land ramp that always happens, Boundless Realms to search for basically all of your basics most of the time, Regrowth for recursion, Revel of the Fallen God is an amazing addition for tokens, Krenko, Mob Boss is amazing and tends to draw out some removal once you get it going

Overall Wort is an amazing commander and if you wanted to see my decklist you'll have to wait until either tomorrow or Sunday for me to finish uploading the list

resplendentobscurity on Wort Deck Wins

Hello!

I saw your post over on Reddit, and thought I'd take a peek since I also run a Wort deck.

I'm not exactly sure what Red Deck Wins is SUPPOSED to feel like, but... here are some suggestions for combos that I run in my deck.

Kyren Negotiations - looks like you're making lots of tokens, it combos with Throne of the God-Pharaoh, and doesn't require haste.

In a similar vein, Furystoke Giant does the same thing plus it can combo with something like Goblin Bombardment + Fresh Meat and a haste enabler. I also see you have Outpost Siege, which can add that additional damage from the sacrifice, and, to add on that, Vicious Shadows ends games quickly.Fresh Meat is also a great way to recover from a board wipe.

Conspiring something like Clan Defiance and Decimate can be a huge blowout for someone else.

Nullmage Shepherd has also been really good.

Also adding some recursion spells like Revive and Recollect that you can loop with something like Early Harvest to make a huge Empty the Warrens, or burn people off with Guttersnipe might be something to consider? I run a Paradox Engine + Cryptolith Rite for this combo, but may be out of your budget considerations?

Your deck seems to be more dedicated to the attack step than mine is - perhaps consider Chancellor of the Forge or Revel of the Fallen God for more hasty tokens? - Though I find Revel is really only worth it if I can conspire it.

Also, Mogg Infestation for lols - I've used it to wipe someone's board / double or quadruple my tokens - a conspired Mogg with 10 creatures and an Impact Tremors is a win, unless someone is running heavy life gain.

I also have a ton of ramp, so conspiring an X spell is definitely a win con - which also have the utility to be used as removal if need be. Speaking of ramp Harrow is pretty good when copied.

Not sure how combo centred you want your deck, but I do find I win fairly often with the way I'm running things - and it has that 'burn your opponents out' kind of feel. I'm not sure how your deck is currently running so it's hard to make pointed criticisms / suggestions - so take them or leave them :) also here's the link to mine if you're curious.

Garchomp98 on Omnath, Locus of Raging Elementals

First things first...Sakura-Tribe Elder and Sol Ring. By using Omnath, Locus of Rage with expensive dragons you want early and inexpensive ramp. Shaman of Forgotten Ways is also a great ramp for creature-heavy decks. I understand this aspires to be a budget deck so Burgeoning finds home here and not Exploration too. Take out Relentless Hunter for Rubblehulk. Take out Harbinger of the Hunt for Savage Ventmaw.

Zendikar's Roil is a bit slow and ineffective here as you don't focus on small tokens rather than big fat tokens from Omnath and creatures. Where Ancients Tread also finds home here it has won me lots of games (I also play EDH with this Omnath). Take out Peregrination for Cultivate it's essential to have cheap ramp spells. You can scry a lot more with Lifecrafter's Bestiary.

Wild Slash and Draconic Roar are awful in EDH. Instead have Comet Storm and perhaps Starstorm or Mizzium Mortars...Ground Assault, Hull Breach, Decimate and Vandalblast are all excellent removals for Gruul EDH.

In the end some good cards are: Elemental Bond for card draw. Rite of the Raging Storm which triggers both Elemental Bond,Omnath, Locus of Rage AND Where Ancients Tread. You can take out Revel of the Fallen God for it...it's not such a good card. Spellbreaker Behemoth to mess with those blue players out there. Gruul Turf, Naya Panorama, Terramorphic Expanse as for lands. Grave Sifter or Creeping Renaissance for turning the game to your advantage. And perhaps Mistcutter Hydra for a kill out of nowhere.

Not a bad set up, but I personally cannot play Wort and not include Revel of the Fallen God. And Mirari.

Also I'll be taking up your challenge of building around Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. Wish me luck!
