We have a ton of ramp - the deck needs the ramp to string together multiple spells a turn and combo off / dump mana into an X burn spell. It's not uncommmon to have 20+ lands out by the end of the game - it can also help increase the likely hood that you draw gas, instead of lands.

Also,Purphoros, God of the Forge is not in the deck on purpose at the moment.

It play tests well - but we'll see how it fairs against others once I get all of the cards. After a few games, Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots might go in to protect Wort.

I also don't play in a super-competitive meta, so a fully optimized deck isn't necessary.
