Kyren Negotiations Discussion

Matticampi on Shamanic Extraction

ZapatasBlood, Ill give Kyren Negotiations a try, it definitely would work better than a one time use.

Firebones675, if I do use Skullclamp + Grave Pact/Dictate of Erebos what should I replace? I was thinking Bow of Nylea and Swiftfoot Boots, also if I am drawing all of these cards should I throw in a Thought Vessel as well since Reliquary Tower may not cut it alone?

How about Kyren Negotiations instead of Flame Fusillade?

Kyren also allows you to tap for damage even if your creatures have summoning sickness.

Who's the commander? Is there a specific reason we need to be Esper? Because Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Earthcraft, Glare of Subdual, Kyren Negotiations, and Llanowar Behemoth could all be good. It would also allow you to add Voyaging Satyr/Kiora's Follower + Intruder Alarm + Forbidden Orchard for another infinite, and allow you to add Birds of Paradise type cards so Puppet Conjurer type cards could be infinite.

For the Impact Tremors, you have Altar of the Brood kind of.

Tap for Token: Marrow-Gnawer (requires another rat to start), Skirsdag High Priest (requires Morbid and 2 other creatures to start)

Tap outlets: Galecaster Colossus, Hair-Strung Koto, Mothdust Changeling, Patron Wizard, Opposition,

Other cards that could be good: Wake Thrasher,

For sure dude! I think that's fair trade. Same with the other one you mentioned in light of pskinn01's great suggestion.

Another thought would be Heroic Intervention to stop your opponents wraths. You could trade out Drumhunter, I think there are better options for draw and ramp.

All being said, you've inspired me to rebuild my Rith deck as well! Mine will probably focus more on etb triggers with the tokens, like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Pandemonium. One of the issues I found with Rith is the awkwardness of creating an army second main and giving a whole turn for your opponents to deal with you. There's not many surprises, like naya's biggest strength over selesnya tokens is haste, which is hard to abuse without extra combats.

So all being said, there may be some ways for us to capitalize with our army outside of the combat step while we wait for our turn to come back again. Collective Effort, Glare of Subdual, Kyren Negotiations (not sure about this how good this one tho but it seems fun), and Nullmage Shepherd

Someone brought this up in the thread on Facebook but I thought it deserved a little more discussion here.

Let's talk about the following enchantment combo:

Kyren Negotiations+Goblin Bombardment+Faces of the Past

Some more cards that I considered for my naya tokens deck back in the day:

Kyren Negotiations extracts additional damage out of your tokens.

Furystoke Giant is similar but lets you ping creatures as well.

Spawning Pit lets you recycle your tokens. Also good in response to sweepers.

Mana Echoes would generate a ton of colorless mana in your deck, even though you use different creature types. Hordeling Outburst for example would generate at least 9 mana in total.

Looks like fun. Some late game finish options might include Kyren Negotiations and Goblin Bombardment. They would work especially well against boardwipes. Tap em all for 1 damage each, then sac em for some more to get value on the way out. Also, they would just be great flavor.

Hi,

On my Locust Deck I set up 3 possible win conditions, depending on the deck you're facing of:

1- Aggro. Just draw-swarm throw some wheels and pump with Gravitational Shift, Shared Animosity, with an always funny overloaded Teleportal.

2- control/direct damage. We assume we cannot attack for some reason or we must just stop some threatening creature Opposition, Shivan Harvest, Goblin Bombardment, Kyren Negotiations, Psychosis Crawler, Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Impact Tremors, and our beloved Purphoros, God of the Forge. In most of the cases we draw to create locust that will be used as gun-powder

3- Win by MILL. Yes. Here we can use two very understimated cards which are Sphinx's Tutelage and Altar of the Brood. The Altar is sick in this deck because everytime you draw, every enemy will mill the same. Make a Wheel of 7? they also mill 7 [and you have the locust BTW]. Altar of the Brood and Fascination act the same. If you sac your locusts to an Ashnod's Altar, you can draw-kill someone with a Stroke of Genius or the like. What about killing one opponent with 10 locusts pumped by shared animosity and then sac to Altar of Dementia to insta-mill another opponent? LOL.

anyway, that's my deck built on a relative budjet plus the cards I already had
