Stangg

Legendary Creature — Human Warrior

When Stangg enters the battlefield, put a legendary 3/4 red and green Human Warrior creature token named Stangg Twin onto the battlefield. When Stangg leaves the battlefield, exile that token. When that token leaves the battlefield, sacrifice Stangg.

Interesting deck.

I think, however, you should describe what you mean in your second sentence of the description:

  • "Copying Auras, a token creature, and an artifact that wont get exiled on the end step makes for something quite strong."

I'm assuming you mean that you intend to use Sundial of the Infinite to stop everything from being exiled, but many people or beginners might not understand that. As well, be aware that the tokens will eventually be exiled (on your opponent's end step), unless other players also are using Sundial every turn (unlikely, lol).

I'd also describe just a little bit about how you intend to use Hammer of Nazahn.

Lastly, It'd talk about other cool interactions that you've baked into the deck. If your Stangg commander is buffed up to a 10/8 creature and attacks while a Terror of the Peaks is in play, that's 10 damage to take out a key blocker, a planeswalker, or 10 to the face of your opponent. Or Moraug, Fury of Akoum is a game ender if you play a land before attacking, especially if you also have spells like Cultivate, Rampant Growth, or Three Visits in your hand; Getting 3-4 attack phases in a row could get crazy ... even more so with Terror of the Peaks, lol.

I think the more you describe your deck, the more it will make sense and get your more upvotes. It looks like a fun deck and is one I think I'll play around with very soon. I'll probably add the original Stangg Legend into the deck as well ... it's just too fun not too, especially with Hammer of Nazahn and being able to share the voltron wealth a little bit to attack multiple opponents or an all out assault on a single enemy.

Good Luck!

Thank you for your interest in my Stangg deck, TheSlowestBro. I appreciate that it gives you a laugh, however the deck is actually quite capable and does win a fair share in even high-powered games :)

Ooh, Stangg! Thanks, 0rc I've never heard of him! He looks like a piece of jank, but I'd be really interested in a decklist of him.

AllenM8, thank you very much for your interest in my Stangg deck and fir your thoughtful suggestions.

Let’s go through each one by one.

Fiery Emancipation is the most viable recommendation. It would be a welcome addition, were it one-sided. Unfortunately, with a deck as slow and cumbersome as this, we don’t want to give any resource that doesn’t break parity to the opponent. He or she will certainly outclass us with it.

Oracle of Mul Daya is the second most viable addition, however this deck only runs 34 lands. It is less-likely to top deck a land or have extra lands in hand than those decks that benefit most from her. This deck would be more likely to run more immediate land acceleration such as Farseek or Migration Path (which is strictly better than Explosive Vegetation, which we already run). Another mana dork would also be in order.

Beast Whisperer is a house that dominates builds that pump out creature spells. This deck, however, pumps out creature tokens and sparse creature spells. The average CMC is 4-5, so we can only expect to cast a beefy boi every couple of turns. As a result, we won’t be drawing much off of it.

Guardian Project, again, focuses on non-token creatures.

I do really appreciate all of your recommendations. The deck just needs a different treatment. That said, if you have any more recommendations, I am grateful to hear them.

Thank you!

Deadpoo111, that’s so Kind of you! I gave you a shoutout in the afterword on my Stangg deck’s write-up. I wish I would have done so sooner. I have played with your Stangg deck many, many times. It’s a fun deck and ridiculously Stangg-centerred. More so than mine is, for sure :) Thank you.
