This is a work in progress prototype deck of a Hydra Tribal deck with a fair amount of ramp and RG Stompy goodness.

The commander, Ulasht, the Hate Seed is one of the few true tribal hydra commanders as far as I know. Other options could be Progenitus which is only loosely Hydra related. Rosheen Meanderer is another option which is more spiky and less janky in my opinion, but neither of them seem as fun! I've seen Rishkar, Peema Renegade as another ramp focused commander for Hydra decks. I quite like him in the 99 however.

Hydra combination style!

Kalonian Hydra + Xenagos, God of Revels gets out of control quickly! Like with a lot of the Hydras though, getting through for damage can be difficult. So throwing in a trample or unblockable aspect to this combo is pretty essential.

Kalonian Hydra + Solidarity of Heroes There's quite a few +1/+1 counter combos in here. A lot at instant speed or using combat triggers.

Burgeoning + Oran-Rief Hydra I've got a high level of basics in here, and not managed this one but I'm looking forward to playing this combo!

Dragon Throne of Tarkir is one of the nice cards that I've managed to build up a boardstate of tall Hydras I can get through and finish things off with some damage. Same with Overwhelming Stampede or Pathbreaker Ibex

Ulasht, the Hate Seed has a lot of potential for combos but I've not managed to acquire a lot of the cards to bring the full potential out of him, like Doubling Season Hooded Hydra

Hydra Broodmaster + Mana Echoes

Mana Echoes + Ulasht, the Hate Seed are some that I can pull off for some mana sinking combos.

I'm always looking for more interesting combos or plays with this deck, as it's very slow and linear. Any help is appreciated.
