This deck revolves around lifegain in order to fuel card draw and token production.

Usually you want a way to draw cards for life (Necro, Greed, Blood Fast, Erebos, etc.), those cards can in turn be used to gain more life, mostly by creating lifelink creatures and/or token production. Several ways in the deck can be used to amass token armies and others to provide them with lifelink if they don't already have them

While building the deck I noticed that a large number of cards were already legendary, and with several additions particularly from Dominaria a strong legendary subtheme was added, particularly outlined by making a number of substitutions in the land slot to increase the number of legendary permanents.
