get ready to confuse the hell out of everyone at the table because this deck is heavily reliant on Maskwood Nexus

Golos, Tireless Pilgrim is the perfect commander for this deck for one BIG reason and that is being able to tutor for any land into play.

The first lands to fetch

  1. Inventors' Fair is great because you can later tutor for Maskwood Nexus

  2. Mirrorpool can make a copy of a good tribal creature

  3. The World Tree will make you the biggest threat with the snap of your fingers when you have Maskwood Nexus out

because Maskwood Nexus is our biggest part we need some protection for it!

Guardians of the nexus

  1. Academy Ruins and Buried Ruin are lands we can tutor up with Golos so we can return Maskwood Nexus from the grave to the library or hand

  2. Leonin Abunas and Padeem, Consul of Innovation will provide Maskwood Nexus with hexproof

  3. since Spellskite is an artifact we can target a spell straight to him instead

  4. Muldrotha, the Gravetide can let us play Maskwood Nexus from the grave

  5. but, what if it gets exiled? well the answer my friend is Riftsweeper and the most annoying card in commander Karn, the Great Creator

  6. if you need a full-on reset of the deck then we have Kozilek, Butcher of Truth

  7. Vessel of Endless Rest is just good for ramp and recursion

  8. Daretti, Scrap Savant is going to recure Maskwood Nexus for a small price

protection for the peasants

  1. Lord of the Unreal is more hexproof for da boys

  2. Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor is basically saying why not tax our opponents while we're at it??

  3. Crucible of Worlds is a must-have because what if our opponents destroy our lands or destroy Maskwood Nexus and all our land recursion is in the grave?

  4. Lightning Greaves will protect our best creature

board whipe protection

basically, it's just counterspells but, the good ones!

  1. starting us off is Dovin's Veto because if we don't want to give the chance for a counterspell on our counterspell

  2. but why not ramp up to a Golos cast as well? then look no further to Mana Drain

  3. but Michael what if we don't have mana? shhh... that's why we have Fierce Guardianship

so we don't have the traditional mono green mana ramp instead we have rocks, dorks, and blink!

The dorks

  1. Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver are just broken in this deck, and if we are lucky it combos well with Magda, Brazen Outlaw

  2. Scuttlemutt is just a better Manalith

  3. Jegantha, the Wellspring will basically make it so we just tap 3 things to activate Golos, Tireless Pilgrim

It's free real estate

  1. Simian Spirit Guide and Elvish Spirit Guide are basically Lotus Petal on steroids

  2. Mana Crypt is just an obvious ad for any artifact heavy deck

It's time to ROCK!

  1. Arcane Signet is the necessity of every multicolor commander deck

  2. Chromatic Orrery this is the best rock because it fixes all mana for anything we want

  3. Commander's Sphere is extra draw if necessary

  4. Mana Vault turn 2 Golos why not!

  5. Sol Ring the necessity of every commander deck

  6. Vessel of Endless Rest is just yelling at you "time to recure the best thing we have!"

Non-traditional ramp

all cards in this part are the Golos abuser cards that will pair well with Amulet of Vigor

  1. Cloudshift and Ephemerate are you just saying why not 1 mana for a land?

  2. Siren's Ruse is great if we have Maskwood Nexus in play because we can draw one and tutor for a land

  3. and the ones you can just repeatably pay to blink Golos are Deadeye Navigator and Eldrazi Displacer

  4. Brago, King Eternal is the best because we have so many mana rocks and we can also get a land into play!

so I have divided the tribal lords into 3 main groups the tappers or also known as lords, utility, and the threats

The lords

  1. Azami, Lady of Scrolls is great draw

  2. Captivating Vampire steal the creatures to get more creatures!

  3. Galecaster Colossus why not add some Stax to this deck?

  4. Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca card draw + buffing!? that's great!

  5. since we don't have that many counterspells we run Lullmage Mentor and Patron Wizard

  6. Voice of the Woods gets us more tokens to tap or break our opponents' will to fight!

Utility creatures

  1. Krenko, Mob Boss is great for producing an army fast! And if we pair it with Battletide Alchemist we become almost invisible

  2. Goblin Recruiter is always broken in goblin tribal so here it is to tutor the big guns!

  3. If we resolve Goblin Recruiter then always search Gishath, Sun's Avatar to the top to get our big guns!

  4. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is just broken with Manaweft Sliver and Gemhide Sliver

  5. Myr Galvanizer is great for our lords and mana dorks!

  6. Reaper King = super removal!

  7. Sea Gate Loremaster is just more draw!

  8. Sliver Overlord is great because if we don't have Maskwood Nexus we can tutor for our mana dorks or cascade!

  9. The Ur-Dragon will give us draw and something to play each turn!

  10. and this little guy Viscera Seer is great for card selection!
