I took one look at Atraxa and I knew exactly what needed to be done with her. Now I'm sure all the Superfriends players out there are intent on abusing her proliferate triggers in order to go nuts with their planeswalkers. But for me, this is the perfect color combination to get my infect on. I play infect in Pauper and it's one of the fastest decks in the format, but here with Atraxa's color combination we are able to really dig into the full abilities of Infect to either draw the game out slow, or pile on the hurt real fast, it's your choice.The idea here is to abuse Atraxa's proliferate trigger in order to infect someone at a relatively decent pace as you choose. You can go on the control plan and just let Atraxa's proliferate triggers do the work over time, or you can go on the Infect beats plan and rail them all the way. A good way to do this is to strick Odric on the field with Atraxa so that now all your infect guys are flying, vigilance, deathtouch, and lifelink (lifelink isn't much good here but oh well, take where you can get it)Now I'm sure many people are wondering why this deck doesn't have a doubling season, the resaon being that a) I was trying to keep this relatively budget as a deck, and b) you don't relly need it, it's kind of a win more card at this point. Now there are some superfriends in thedeck as a sub theme if one wants to go on that strategy, but the main function here is to stick some infect damage and Atraxa and then wait it out or beat them down. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions for the deck!
