Atraxa - Opalescent Parallax

When I saw Parallax Tide, I right away saw potential. At first I wasn't sure, but then I saw the other card of the same cycle. Parallax Wave is at least as insane as it's sister, but together with a little friend named Opalescence we can overwhelm all our opponents in a flash.

Step 1: inject your regular enchantress core items Step 2: add spice Step 3: ??? Step 4: profit

Why Atraxa?

Mostly for the black tutors and removal, but she does give us the ability to proliferate those vanishing counters, keeping our enchantments alive until we can go off. If you like, pick your favorite Witch-Maw partner pair instead; or simply cut black. Technically, you can cut green too, but you'll lose on that ramp and cheap enchantress triggers.

The combo

With Opalescence is in play, use Parallax Tide to exile 5 of your lands. Then use Parallax Wave to exile Parallax Tide, then itself. All the lands will return back to your field untapped (use Amulet of Vigor to cheat). You just made 5 mana at zero cost. Rinse and repeat.

Bonus: before self-exiling Parallax Wave, add some more creatures to the loop.

Superstar: Admonition Angel is nuts with Parallax Tide, as we get a bunch of landfall triggers. This is something that can be built around if you like that approach.

Final Notes

There is definitely some room for improvements, but keep in mind that this is just a simple shell. You can just go pure control instead of enchantress, or build some landfall shenanigans (Lotus Cobra and Roil Elemental come to mind). At the end of the day, this does the job, and smacking people with Omniscience (or a bunch) is a legit way to seal the game.

Go try it out and I hope you like it!
