Vadrik, Astral Archmage nothing too crazy. Vadrik the gym rat gets swole and it makes our spells cheaper.

It's fun to be able to run some lesson cards in the deck, such as Introduction to Prophecy and Expanded Anatomy. In any other deck, they are out-classed by other options, but because of Vadrik's cost reduction, these are often free spells to cast to push advantage further. Similar card choices also make use of Vadrik's huge gains: Sudden Breakthrough is always mana neutral, Frantic Search ends up being mana positive always, Syncopate can be a huge one mana blow-out, Tezzeret's Gambit is similar to the lesson cards with the added bonus of proliferating on top, and so on and so forth.

Harmonic Prodigy is so cool in this deck. It works with nearly every single creature in the deck, and makes me so happy from a deck-building perspective. It works from our Commander's day/night ability, to our token producers, to Dragon's Rage Channeler's surveil triggers, to our ETB triggers, our prowess triggers, and all the way to our magecraft triggers. Love this card here.

There is a minor tokens theme with Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Deekah, Fractal Theorist, and Docent of Perfection  . It synergizes double time with our commander as we are rewarded for running and casting a lot of instants and sorceries. Creating infinite tokens is one of our win conditions, as well as a value engine with Curiosity Crafter drawing us cards for hitting with our tokens. It also encourages me to attack, which is something I shy away from as a player.

And lastly, the instants in this deck are all geared to be mostly below 3 cmc (mana value) in order to fill out a nice Firemind's Foresight toolbox package. At each mana value of 1, 2, and 3, there is an outlet for infinite mana, primarily Fall of the Titans, Comet Storm, and Capsize respectively, there is a counterspell to protect us, Syncopate, Arcane Denial/Thassa's Intervention, and Divide by Zero, and some general value pieces/card draw. It is kinda top heavy on the 3 mana value infinite combo pieces because I am not willing to shell out the money for a copy of Reset, although it would position us for an instant win after resolving Firemind's Foresight given we have the mana to cast and profit off of Reiterate + Reset .

All in all, this is a very neat and tidy list, that I am pretty proud of considering it budgeting below $100. Enjoy!
