This deck aims to cast Maelstrom multiple times to generate value through cascade. By returning Maelstrom to hand or countering it in a way that generates mana we can use cascade to generate so much value our opponents cant catch up while providing no easy target to counter. If Maelstrom gets countered we get to play it again and we cascade into too many threats for them to all be dealt with.
