My second favorite color to play in magic is green, and for some reason I still haven't made a green-based deck. so here we are.

It was either Gargos, Vicious Watcher (Hydras) or Omnath, Locus of Mana (Stompy Ramp) for commanders, and I decided to go with Omnath. His ability to stockpile mana makes X cost spells extremely powerful, and makes casting equally powerful creatures easy to cast.

Speaking of X cost spells, you're probably wondering why there aren't more of them in here (specifically hydras). Funny enough, the reason for that is because I will probably end up making a Gargos, Vicious Watcher deck anyway, and save the hydras for that deck. It also comes with the added bonus of running a variety of different creatures. I felt like with Omnath, just dumping mana into +1/+1 counters for Hydras would get a bit stale quickly. Depending on how this plays, I might consider adding at least a Genesis Hydra since it works so well with the deck.
