As a deck that seeks to make a land drop every turn (if not more), I would consider adding more card draw/card advantage. Cards like Vorinclex  ^Flip, Valakut Exploration, and Rishkar's Expertise are all good inclusions IMO. I would consider removing cards like Sparkspitter and Lightning Mare

Virtue of Strength's really good in like mono-green or gruul/selesnya landfall, you could pair that with Shigeki, Jukai Visionary and run mostly basic lands and fetch lands, you play cards like Topiary Stomper and Vorinclex  ^Flip to get more lands that you can tap for 3 mana, and then it's very straight forwards you coule run things like Lotus Cobra, Primeval Titan and other strong landfall cards, then you could run things like an Eldrazi Titan or some X mana creatures, hydras idk, whatever you feel like popping off with, I guess. I think it's a good card, the cycle of Virtues in general is really good, I feel like.

Yoooo dude, I was thinking exactly the same thing as I was writing the description, I was like "on the other hand, Teferi's Protection gets around everything for the same cost..." I think I looked, the other day, on the deckbuilder, and I couldn't find Teferi's Protection... For reference, I'm building this deck for Traditional Explorer and I think it's only available in Historic. I'm not too much of a fan of Alchemy nonsense, though, so that's why I usually stick to Explorer. However, thanks to your intervention, this got me thinking and Guardian of Faith does a marvelous job in this deck. It's a creature and it basically accomplishes the same thing, with the downside of not actually protecting you against burn spells to the face or protecting your enchantments and planeswalkers, it's a bit less flexible than Teferi's Protection but it has the added bonus of being a flash creature that can also get me some ETB triggers, with cards like Topiary Stomper, Titan of Industry and Vorinclex  ^Flip.

I was also considering Get Lost, I heard about how it's the best possible 2-drop removal in standard, and I think I might end up swapping the Ram Through for them, it looks solid, so I'll definitely at least test it.

OberstHati I'm glad you like the deck, and I am actually working on updating my budget list version of the deck. Life has been busy, so it's taking longer than I want.

As for the the cards you suggested, Vorinclex  ^Flip is a fantastic card, but not a great fit for this deck. Invasion of Zendikar  ^Flip isn't bad at all and provides decent ramp.

I'm working on trying to find a slot for Invasion of Ixalan  ^Flip, but testing and finding slots to swap out gets increasingly harder with every set.

1st: I like this straightforward approach! I will make a Version without Gaea's Cradle, so rather Budget. What‘s your Opinion on Vorinclex  ^Flip and Invasion of Zendikar  ^Flip?

Mortlocke, ja bin ich^^ und Kaiserslautern ist von mir aus ca 45 Minuten entfernt und ich/wir spielen auch "regelmäßig" mit Freunden aus Kaiserslautern :-) sprichst du deutsch, wenn du momentan da wohnst? Oder bist du auf der Airbase stationiert? mein Englisch ist leider eher schlecht, aber google übersetzer hilft ein wenig :-)

So put a lot of pressure on quickly and hope for the best in an emergency :-) That's pretty much how my Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma deck plays.

No, I don't have a decklist yet because the idea came from the dinos recently. with each of my playgroups advising me against zacama and recommending Gishath, Sun's Avatar.

i generally like praetors and there were nice things in the set. Vorinclex  ^Flip immediately had to go into the Goreclaw deck, pay 3 mana, get 2 mana 6/6 trample and reach is already enormous, and the flip side in the best case 2 of my big cheats into play :-) I also took Tribute to the World Tree for my decks. I also really like Etali, Primal Conqueror  ^Flip, I thought it would fit into my Faldorn deck at first, but I still have to test it in game. Ayara, Widow of the Realm  ^Flip might also find in my chainer deck.

Ich freue mich schon auf Ixalan, wird bestimmt gut. ich aheb auch mit dem letzten ixalan Block mit Magic begonnen, was mich noch ein wenig mehr an die Plain bindet^^
