Silumgar, the Drifting Death is a unique general with strong abilities. Hexproof on generals is invaluable but more importantly, the 'Shrivel' ability that triggers for each attacking dragon is very powerful. The problem lies in the number of UB Dragons that exist and the difficulty in amassing a horde of 5 - 6 cc creatures.

Changelings help in that regard. They count as dragons at a much more reasonable casting cost. There are a total of 9 UB changeling (including Mistform Ultimus). Luckily for us, there are also a good number of cards that not only tutor for them, but tutor for them in to play. The mercenary chain, Seahunter, and Blightspeaker are the backbone of the deck.

Since changelings are all creatures types in addition to being dragons, they can benefit from the numerous UB lords available. The best ones in my opinion are Hibernation Sliver, Higure, and Master of the Pearl Trident.

The coolest part of the deck has to do with its recursion engine in the form of Haakon, Stromgald Scourge. Since all the changeling are also knight, Entombing Haakon and recasting all the changeling give the deck resiliency. Another cool line of play is Mystical Teachings -> Entomb -> Bin Haakon -> Flashback Teachings for Nameless Inversion. Now with Haakon in play, you can repeatedly cast Nameless Inversion from the graveyard.

Rounding out the deck are the various Dragon stand-ins (Mistform creatures, Adaptive Automaton, Proteus Machine) and actual dragons (Belltoll Dragon, Quicksilver Dragon, Icefall Regent). I like the morph dragons because you don't have to commit to their entire casting cost until you're ready. Belltoll Dragon acts as an anthem for your changelings when unmorphed and works well with Vesuvan Shapeshifter as well. Sakashima the Imposter copying Silumgar doubles the number of Shivel triggers.

Notable exclusions include Xenograft and Conspiracy. They just didn't offer too much in my opinion. They cost a lot of mana and I always had enough dragons in play.

The deck is very good at keeping creatures off the board due to Silumgar's ability. However actually winning the game can be slow at time which is why the deck has a number of equipment which pairs well with a hexproof general.
