Vivien's Invocation

Sorcery

Look at the top seven cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. When a creature is put onto the battlefield this way, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature an opponent controls.

Hey, you're welcome. Do you own all the cards in the sideboard? There's several cards in the sideboard that are better than cards in the main deck.

If you choose to add the two card infinite green mana combo these are some changes to consider:

Sabertooth is a very good green creature with or without the combo. It's ability is repeatable and it gives you lots of value from creatures who have an enter the battlefield (ETB) ability by bouncing the creature and then casting it again. Genesis Hydra is a unique creature in green since it can cheat any nonland permanent with CMC X or less you reveal from X cards onto the battlefield which includes not just a creature, but also an enchantment, artifact or Planeswalker. Being able to repeat this effect with Sabertooth can give you a lot of value in mono green.

Hey, nice budget upgrade of the precon. Good upgrade of Kiki.

Budget cards to consider adding:

Cards to consider cutting:

Examples of some changes to consider:

  • Jungle Shrine > Jungle Hollow
I'm guessing you meant to type Shrine instead of Hollow since Hollow is not a legal card in Naya colors.

  • Breath of Fury or Zealous Conscripts > Burning Anger
Fury or Conscripts are win condition combos with either Ghired or Kiki, they will have a lot more impact than Burning.

  • Quartzwood Crasher > Desolation Twin
Crasher at five mana can be repeatable Dino tokens that can be 10/10s or higher that have trample. The 10/10 Eldrazi that Twin creates is not good enough for 10 mana.

  • Ogre Battledriver > Samut, Tyrant Smasher

  • Congregation at Dawn or Shared Summons > Vivien's Invocation
Invocation at seven mana can miss in the top seven and not reveal a creature. Dawn at three mana or Summons at five don't miss.

Good luck with your deck.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my deck <3 I'm still fairly new to Magic so feedback is appreciated! You're right, I do own all of the cards in my deck! I wanted to experiment a bit with some different types of werewolves and see which ones I liked best as well :) I actually agree with taking out Vivien's Invocation . It seemed good at the time but wouldn't be all that useful for this deck. My idea with adding in Immerwolf was to try and keep the human werewolves from transforming back when spells were cast, so I would try to play that when I had as many transformed as possible before playing it.Those are all really great cards to suggest! I hadn't actually seen them before now because I usually like to try to deck build blind at first and then see how the deck plays before looking up any cards or similar decks :) it makes it more fun for me!

Coolio. Sooo, where to start. Just based on how the deck has lots of singles, Im guessing that you own most/all of these cards. Thats fine, it just won't be as smooth as a deck you made then ordered. I would drop Vivien's Invocation . Its really pricy, mana wise, and none of your creatures have a high enough power for the second ability to really come into play. Now your deck is down to 60 cards. Good, keep it there. Due to Immerwolf , Shrill Howler  Flip, Smoldering Werewolf  Flip, Tangleclaw Werewolf  Flip, Ulvenwald Captive  Flip, and Vildin-Pack Outcast  Flip cannot transform. You can figure out how to deal with that, if that is a problem you come across. Mayor of Avabruck  Flip is a important card in most Werwolf decks. Howlpack Resurgence is an incredibly important card, so important that i have never seen a werewolf deck that didnt run it. Its somewhat pricy, but Collected Company is a powerful card, especially in a creature based deck like this.

@TheRedGoat Thanks for your suggestions and sorry for my bad englado.

Usually I need 2 creatures to kill Grothama, All-Devouring for the first time in a match. Personally I'm fine with that and don't think, that we need either Bow of Nylea or Grafted Exoskeleton .

The deck is built to draw a ton of cards and it pretty much always does. The only thing that can get in our way is, when we keep a starting hand without something for card draw, we don't draw anything similar and our creatures (which were to kill Grothama) will be removed. In this case a cheap early card draw spell like Life's Legacy or Hunter's Insight could be really useful. (When i built the deck, i was also considering those two but simply forgot to put them to the Maybeboard.

The Great Aurora - I've never seen this card before and I'm not quite sure if we need more lands on the battlefield, when we can already cast a 9 mana spell. The card draw is pretty sweet tho combined with Psychosis Crawler . (And you are right, the deck makes it easy to have a handsize of 20+ cards.)

Vivien's Invocation - In my opinion See the Unwritten is simply better.

Death's Presence - Could be pretty neat, but I'm not sure if I would cut antyhing for it.

Pathbreaker Ibex - Great card, can also be tutored for with Fierce Empath (I will definitely add it to the 99 in the future!)

Berserk - Already in the deck. Love the card... used it one time on a buffed Mossbridge Troll to hit for 50 and draw almost my whole deck with Greater Good .

Dragon Throne of Tarkir + Surestrike Trident - I almost cut all equipment cards because they were too slow. Only Darksteel Plate and Lightning Greaves are still in the deck.

Ravenous Slime - Most of the time our commander is dead before we end our turn. And if she is still alive, then we have some protection in back up. So we don't need Ravenous Slime .

I'd never suggest to play Grothama, All-Devouring just to have her on the board. Only play her, if you can make use of her ability in that turn or can protect her until your next turn.

I don't like Trollhide / Blinding Fog - When you need more protection for our wurm Blossoming Defense is cheaper and better.

Verdant Sun's Avatar - Personally I like the card, but I never felt needing it.

Gigantosaurus / Crash of Rhino Beetles / Phyrexian Dreadnought - Every creature in my deck has either a useful ability or is hard to remove. The 3 beater u mentioned are only big and die to easily.

I can only recommend Grothama, All-Devouring if you like card draw and smashing face with big hitters. She definitely has a unique ability which you can't find on any other card in magic. Beside Barktooth Warbeard , Grothama is my favorite EDH deck.

Some cards I notice you don't have and so would ask if you've considered or tested them:

Bow of Nylea or Grafted Exoskeleton as an easier way of getting your commander dead.

Soul's Majesty , Life's Legacy , or Nissa's Revelation as card advantage (sorcery speed doesn't matter much when your hand doubles in size.

Hunter's Insight and Hunter's Prowess seem like effective alternate ways to draw a ton of cards.

The Great Aurora can be a fairly one sided board wipe when you have a hand twice the size of everyone else combined. (Also works for token decks mind you)

Vivien's Invocation and Death's Presence seem fun, if not strictly connected.

Pathbreaker Ibex , Dragon Throne of Tarkir , Berserk , and Surestrike Trident seem like effective ways to close out games.

Ravenous Slime could discourage others from attacking into your commander.

Trollhide and Blinding Fog seem like good ways to keep your commander alive for a bit.

Verdant Sun's Avatar seems like a good way to keep yourself alive for a bit.

And lastly, Gigantosaurus , Crash of Rhino Beetles , and Phyrexian Dreadnought just seem like powerful beaters.

Do bear in mind I have no idea what your meta, usual play-style, or budget is like when asking these questions. I am considering Grothama versus Ghalta for a green stompy build, so I'm kinda just throwing out ideas that I might use for either one.

Hi, let's start with the side board. Replace Pierce the Sky with Plummet and definitely move Steel Leaf Champion to the main board, it's just soooo good! You seem to be missing 2-drops... Perhaps look at some mana-dorks as your curve seems to be high. I can see you are trying to synergize with Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma to make your spells cheaper, but you need some early interaction else you will just die to aggro decks. I don't think Vivien's Invocation is that great - it's too slow. Rather move Rabid Bite to the main so you have some form of removal to fend off threats.

But keep it up and play test the deck to see where it's weaknesses are and what you need to change to make it better. Have fun!

Oh goodness, I just saw Vivien's Invocation. That could be crazy powerful to ramp to and just freely slam ginormo dudes. It would depend on creatures with enter the battlefield triggers though most likely. But you could theoretically caast it like turn 4.
