Last post here. This will be a list of suggestions. If I place an "***" next to one I strongly reccomend you try to find room for it. Regardless, all of these suggestions should be considered as I think they're all good. I wouldn't be suggesting them otherwise.

LANDS

MDFC's:

Bala Ged Recovery  Flip

Agadeem's Awakening  Flip

Turntimber Symbiosis  Flip

Fell the Profane  Flip*** (highly suggest cutting a basic swamp)

Disciple of Freyalise  Flip

Branchloft Pathway  Flip (swap with a basic if you get this)

Brightclimb Pathway  Flip (swap with a basic if you get this)

Darkbore Pathway  Flip (swap with a basic if you get this)

Normal lands:

Thespian's Stage

Wasteland*** (I suggested this as a swap actually but I wanna relist it here so you don't forget)

Dust Bowl*** (Strip mine, wasteland, and dust bowl are the best lands that kill lands in the game, period. Run these 3 and you do not need any others.

Path of Ancestry (3+ color decks are gonna want any-color lands. You'd be surprised)

Mana Confluence (3+ color decks are gonna want any-color lands. You'd be surprised)

City of Brass (3+ color decks are gonna want any-color lands. You'd be surprised)

Horizon of Progress*** (3+ color decks are gonna want any-color lands. You'd be suprised) (The reason I added asterisks here and not the other 5 color lands is its ramp ability. You are running 40 lands so that ability will do work AND it's sac/draw ability will also be nuts in your deck. Did I mention it also taps for all 5 colors AND colorless too? Lol such a good land for you and in general)

Glacial Chasmfoil***

Underground Mortuary*** (helps with graveyard, is fetchable)

Lush Portico*** (helps with graveyard, is fetchable)

Shadowy Backstreet*** (helps with graveyard, is fetchable)

CREATURES

(You want several more "play additional land'' effects in this deck. Believe me the deck will be way more powerful with a critical mass of these effects.)

Ancient Greenwarden

Dryad of the Ilysian Grove***

Traveling Chocobo

Wayward Swordtooth***

The Gitrog Monster

ENCHANTMENTS

Necropotence***

Attrition*** (you have tokens out the wazoo to sac. this is also repeatable, reusable removal on a stick. even if your opponent has black creatures, its still a sac outlet.)

Grave Pact (double value if you have this AND attrition out. I would've put asterisks here too, but idk if you have enough sac outlets. Its good without sac outlets obviously, but with more it would be an auto-inlcude as opposed to a very solid suggestion)

Survival of the Fittest (would've put asterisks here too but you need roughly 25+ creatures before this is really worth running. This appears to be the case with most cedh decks that run this and it's also been my personal experience. This is a suggestion that you could include or ignore tbh.

ARTIFACTS

(RUN BOTH OF THESE!!! VERY IMPORTANT)

Conduit of Worlds*** (also gives you general recursion for every card in your deck except instants and sorceries)

Crucible of Worlds***

SORCERIES

Ravages of Warfoil****** (extra asterisks lol. This is a functional reprint of Armageddon. Doubles your chances of MLD!)

INSTANTS

Teferi's Protection (reason for this suggestion is it's heroic intervention #2 for the purposes of comboing with Armageddon/ravages of war. You'll destroy all lands on the board except your own. Be prepared for people to ragequit lmao.)

Idoneity: Thank you! Seeing the deck and primer entertain people over the years is what keeps me playing and updating it.

Spiteful Banditry - The fact that you can cast for X=0 and get this out on turn 2 and just generate consistent value slowly is really appealing. It's also not a strong enough effect to warrant removal from opponents, so it will likely just sit out forever. The fact that it could also be late game mass removal is just icing on the cake. Gonna make a spot for this!

Magmatic Galleon - Ib always wanted his very own pirate ship! I am gonna keep looking to make sure, but I believe you are right that it would proc for each instance of excess non-combat damage, including the rare instances where I can do it on other turns. Normally my cutoff for cards that aren't Goblins (easier to cast) is 4 CMC, but I always give a +1 in instances that are fun. Gonna find a spot for this too!

Arena of Glory - This may be a better fit than Horizon of Progress. I'm gonna see how that plays a little more and then sub this in to test.

Fantastic suggestions! Ib says you're welcome for the opportunity to serve him.

Introducing Cumly Cube 1.4.1! 4 months ago, Cumly Cube 1.4 was released. This was the final major update. As promised, minor tweaks would continue, both to fix any remaining imbalances and keep the card pool fresh. The following 19 swaps should help remove some dominant strategies, specifically by curtailing the power of the “green slop” archetype. The additions also add a lot of new excitement to the cube in only 19 cards; there are multiple cards that introduce the monarch into the game, making this a more central mechanic of Cumly Cube, and there is one card that can be used as a niche combo finish with a Cumly Cube staple.

Here are the changes, provided with brief justifications:

REMOVED:

  1. Artifact Mutation: too powerful
  2. Aura Mutation: too powerful
  3. Captain Sisay: too powerful
  4. Chromatic Lantern: mana fixing should not be this easy
  5. Druid of the Anima: too obvious a choice of Cumly
  6. Endbringer: too powerful in multiplayer
  7. Explosive Vegetation: mana fixing should not be this easy
  8. Firemind Vessel: mana fixing should not be this easy
  9. Gilded Goose: too obvious a choice of Cumly
  10. Gilded Lotusfoil: too much ramp
  11. Glissa Sunseeker: too hateful against artifact decks
  12. Growth Spasm: too much ramp
  13. Growth Spiral: too much ramp
  14. Jetmir, Nexus of Revels: too obvious a choice of Cumly
  15. Joiner Adept: too obvious a choice of Cumly
  16. Karakas: too powerful
  17. Library of Alexandria: too powerful
  18. Muldrotha, the Gravetide: too powerful
  19. Worldfire: an iconic Cumly Cube card, but sadly too unbalanced due to the ability to float mana and cast your Cumly after, almost certainly winning the game. This strategy still exists with Apocalypse, but is less of a guarantee now

ADDED:

  1. Afterlife Insurance: supports the Spirit creature type and instant synergies
  2. Arcane Encyclopedia: supports artifact decks
  3. Court of Ardenvale: the monarch is now supported more heavily in Cumly Cube
  4. Eldrazi Confluence: supports Eldrazi decks
  5. Fiend Hunter: supports the Human creature type
  6. Horizon of Progress: a utility land to help with mana fixing
  7. Moira, Urborg Haunt: supports the Spirit creature type and graveyard synergies
  8. Palace Sentinels: the monarch is now supported more heavily in Cumly Cube, and supports the Human creature type
  9. Papalymo Totolymo: supports the Dwarf creature type and noncreature synergies
  10. Refocus: supports instant synergies
  11. Rile: supports instant synergies and works well with Dinosaurs
  12. Sage of Hours: supports the Human creature type and +1/+1 counter decks
  13. Secluded Courtyard: encourages creature synergies
  14. Sigarda, Champion of Light: supports the Angel creature type and the Human creature type
  15. Staunch Throneguard: the monarch is now supported more heavily in Cumly Cube, and supports the Construct creature type
  16. Thassa's Ire: supports enchantment decks and can do some very powerful things with certain creatures
  17. The Golden Throne: supports sacrifice decks and facilitates possible great comebacks
  18. Three Tree City: encourages creature synergies
  19. Wizard's Rockets: a utility artifact to help with mana fixing

Have you thought of Horizon of Progress instead of, or in addition to, Terrain Generator ? It does cost more to activate the extra land but you have the option to sac it to draw a card. Kind of a mono coloured Horizon Canopy. I'm not a huge fan of Mana Tithe. If it's not used in the first couple of turns it's almost dead. I love Search for Glory. It searches everything important.

Thank you for the upvote on my Night's King. I've moved off that build and switched to a Djeru Ugin control list (Djeru and the Three Ugins).

All fetches out for three more snow-covered basics and a Horizon of Progress!

In the past I have had more reasons for needing top deck manipulation, but now it's really just Conspicuous Snoop.

There are a bunch of cards I would run if EDH was added to MTGArena (Goblin Assassin for one!) but for playing in-person I really want to shuffle as little as possible, so fetches are out!

I forgot to mention this in the above post, but Archdruid's Charm is also grave hate because it can grab your Bojuka Bog at instant speed. Card does so much work.

Anyway here's a list of lands worth taking a look at. Main reason for this second post.

Ancient Tomb

Maelstrom of the Spirit Dragon

The World Tree

Mana Confluence

City of Brass

Horizon of Progress Taps for literally any mana (even colorless since it says "mana of any type" instead of "mana of any color"), can ramp you (!!!!), and can draw you a card in a pinch. Super good.

First two are for ramp/dragon stuff respectively. Last 4 all make your mana base stronger and more consistent. Also, when The World Tree comes online, all your lands that hurt you (cracking fetches, Ancient Tomb, Mana Confluence, Horizon of Progress, etc will no longer hurt you. They will now have the new ability "add one mana of any color" and you can pick that ability so that the lands don't deal damage to you.

If you're still looking for some nonbasics to remove, I recommend Horizon of Progress and Mirrorpool.

For the Horizon, it's the most overcosted version of the effect between itself and Terrain Generator, Walking Atlas and Scaretiller, and I don't think you need that level of redundancy given it doesn't feel like you have quite enough card draw to get that many excess lands in your hand in the first place.

For Mirrorpool, it's going to be awkward to activate and your selection of great targets is kind of limited.
