I started MTG back in the Alara block, and I immediately gravitated towards the Esper shard for it's awesome artstyle and interesting artifact cards. A year or two after, I had heard of the EDH format and I built my first EDH deck around Sharuum. At that time, EDH wasn't that big so I ended up scrapping the deck. Now, I've rebuilt the deck and tried to power it up to keep up with today's metagame.

COMBOS:

Sharuum the Hegemon + Phyrexian Metamorph/Sculpting Steel/Phantasmal Image + Altar of the Brood/The Meathook Massacre/Bitter Ordeal

Play a clone, copy Sharuum. Put Sharuum in your graveyard due to the state-based legend rule, have the clone's trigger target Sharuum. Sharuum re-enters, kill it off via the legend rule, and have it's trigger target itself, and keep doing this indefinitely. Altar, Massacre, or Ordeal serve as wincons to turn the Sharuum loop lethal.

Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry + Time Sieve:

Sacrifice the Sword to Foundry to make a token, Sword returns from the grave attached to the Thopter. Do this at least 4 more times, then sacrifice 5 thopters to Sieve to take an extra turn, in which you keep repeating the combo for infinite turns.
