There is more to tribal than sharing a creature type. This deck focuses on all things Ulrich!

There is a large dose of wolves and werewolves to fit in with Ulrich, but also a big helping of fight cards to showcase Ulrich's uncontested alpha status.

First we include a few cards to help make sure Ulrich and our other werewolves flip. Vedalken Orrery Winding Canyons and Yeva, Nature's Herald help is by letting us skip casting spells on our turn so at least one player won't cast anything on their turn to allow your werewolves to flip. Moonmist Waxing Moon and Geier Reach Bandit   allow us to flip our werewolves and the exclusion of Immerwolf is to allow us to get more use of Ulrich's trigger every time he flips.

Next we inlude more reccuarble fighting opprotunity in Arena Domri Rade and others to allow us to take out key creatures or maybe even work a little politicking. Later we increase the fighting to board wipe status by combining Zada, Hedron Grinder or Mirrorwing Dragon with our fight spells like Pit Fight to let us wipe away the board before an attack. Careful stacking of the copied spells will prevent your smaller creatures from having to fall prey to larger opponents.

Because we rely so heavily on the fight mechanic we include Arcane Lighthouse to get around creatures who would run from a challenge and Bonds of Mortality for creatures that think a fight is anything besides a test of strength.

Sylvan Scrying and Expedition Map let us fetch out our utility lands for the right occassion.

Next time you show Ulrich as your commander, let your opponents underestimate you, because it will be their last mistake.
