Dual Commanders Kydele and Thrasios
The idea is to get an infinite mana cycle, and draw out your deck with Thrasios.
Mana loops:
Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith + 2 mana to start off combo = Infinite colorless mana
Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith + gemstone array and 2 mana to start off combo = Infinite any color mana
Kiora's Follower + Illusionists Bracers = Infinite untaps; Combine with Kydele, or any mana rock for infinite mana production
Draw at least 4 cards in one turn + Kydele + Umbral mantle/sword of the paruns = infinite colorless mana
Use these to fuel Thrasios, and other draw engines to pull your deck into hand.
Draw Engines:
Infinite mana + Staff of domination = infinite draw, life, tap or untaps
Infinite mana + thrasios = pull all land onto battlefield and draw your deck
Kiora's follower bracer combo + Arcanis = draw your deck
Isochron imprinted with brainstorm + paradox engine + infinite mana = draw your deck
infinite mana + blue sun zenith + 3 blue mana = Draw your deck
infinite mana + Planar bridge = fetch exactly whatever permanents you need
infinite mana + Stroke of genius = draw your deck
Rings of Brighthearth basalt combo + sensei's top = infinite draw
Win Con's:
Psychosis Crawler + draw engine = life loss to all opponents
Draw engine with Lab maniac = instant win
Kiora's follower bracer combo and temple Bell = draw everyone to death
Further thoughts:
The general idea is to get yourself to start drawing several cards per turn, enough where you can make real use of kydele's ability. The deck relies heavily on artifacts, because kydele produces colorless mana, so once you've drawn all you can draw for the turn, activate kydele and drop in some artifacts. You want to draw through your deck as quickly as possible, drawing as many cards as you can per turn.
Don't forget paradox engine and unwinding clock. Make maximum use of your artifact abilities, even on other peoples turns. Seedborn muse will also fuel this. Draw as much as you can to pull into one of your combos, once you have infinite mana, drop thrasios and go for game.
When drawing your deck, or if you have a big hand and infinite mana, make sure to drop dark-steel forge first if you can. It will burn peoples counter spells and prevent artifact destruction, ensuring your loops are safer to pull off. You can also try to recur it with time reversal and or elixir. Adding Padeem from the maybeboard will also further protect your artifacts if you're suffering artifact hate.
The temple bell win con is not ideal, and should not be your go to if you are able to deck yourself. This is because everyone will be drawing cards with temple bell, and obviously this means there will not only be a higher likelihood of them drawing into an answer, but also you have likely been drawing the most cards and would have less cards in your library than everyone else. In theory, this means you'd deck yourself before anyone else. This is why elixir of immortality is included. In the event that temple bell is the only route for a win, REMEMBER TO ELIXIR YOURSELF. It'd be very embarrassing to lose this way. So if you have infinite mana, play elixir, and before you deck yourself, sac it, put it in the library and keep going. you can do this if you have no cards in your library and have not made yourself draw yet to death, effectively keeping elixir as the only card in your library. If you do make it to that step and are actually unable to win con in that turn, be aware that if you have to draw more than one card on your following turn, this will backfire and you will deck yourself.
For the Love of Kruphix, do not forget to drop a "no maximum hand size card". I threw spellbook on the maybeboard in the event that you are able to pull off enter the infinite but not an infinite mana loop. but truthfully you really shouldn't need to rely on that free spellbook. There are plenty of ways to make sure you can somewhat safely draw your deck and be ready for that win con. Play smart.
Final Tips:
This ensures you can counter any board wipe responses to the win con, that don't get dropped on you early in the combo.
- For obvious reasons, this deck struggles against Mindrazor decks. Try to get out staff of domination and a mana loop for infinite life.
