I built a Kiora themed commander deck several years ago (using first Zegana, then Kruphix, and then Thrasios as the commander), and now with Commander 2018 we finally have a legendary UG Sea Monster to use! And oh boy is he a doozy. Cheap cmc, ramps you, dodges removal, two hit commander damage kill. I love it.

The game plan is ramp into big sea monsters and smash face by making them unblockable, bouncing blockers, or granting evasion like flying or trample.
