Interpret the Signs
Scry 3, then reveal the top card of your library. Draw cards equal to that card's converted mana cost. (To scry 3, look at the top three cards of your library, then put any number of them on the bottom of your library and the rest on top in any order.)
Interpret the Signs Discussion

So I'm trying to make a deck for my friend for his birthday and he likes Greek Mythology, specifically Poseidon, Hades, and Zues in this order. I'm wanting to stay in the Theros block and have 3 deck ideas but I need some advice and criticism because I don't want to make him a weak deck.
Here are what I've made:
The first one is using Heliod because I made this first and forgot there is a god that looks like zues but in MTG Heliod is the "Leader" or Highest ranking or whatever.
The second one is using Keranos and white humans so its 4 colors instead of 3.
The third one is sticking to the block and theme but also sticking to heroic and scry.
I have always been bad about including a safe amount of land in my decks so that is something i really need help with. I also wasn't sure if this was the best way to show the decks or if i should've just copy and pasted each text.
Sorry for the long post. Wasn't sure how to do this.

EDIT - added links
Some Maybeboard cards I think should be in the main deck: Benthicore , Inspired Sphinx , Kederekt Leviathan , Pentavus , Intruder Alarm , and Soothsaying . Myr Turbine and Heartstone are kind of meh, I'd replace with Genesis Chamber and Unstable Obelisk . I'd also swap some counterspells - Geist Snatch , Summoner's Bane and Lazotep Plating in for Cancel , Dissipate and Rewind .
Cards I'm not really impressed by: Stormsurge Kraken , Tidespout Tyrant , Windreader Sphinx (depends how much flying you end up with), Sphinx Ambassador , Darksteel Colossus , Pathrazer of Ulamog , It That Betrays . I think it's better to focus on big guys that also have ETB effects than use these.
Some other cards to consider (plus the ones I sent you): Erratic Mutation , Synthetic Destiny , Evacuation , Aether Gale , AEtherize , Crystal Ball , Interpret the Signs , Precognitive Perception , Seer's Lantern , Ugin's Insight , Treasure Map Flip, Zhalfirin Void .

I took out two cards for two others. I pulled Metallurgic Summonings because it seemed very slow and honestly kind of cumbersome to keep track of. I also pulled out Charmbreaker Devils, which is a solid card, but just wasn't doing work for me.
I put in Magus of the Mind after seeing a Wizard precon go off with it. I'm just trying it out for now.
I also put in Interpret the Signs, as it has a huge ceiling.

ELdrazi are fun and before they nerfed the Kruphix deck by banning the prophet I packed as many strong Eldrazi in my deck as well. Here are some thoughts to help tweak this deck.
I think you might want to find a place for Seedborn Muse, Sword of Feast and Famine and Seedguide Ash. The muse will untap your lands each during every untap step allowing you at every end step to tap all your lands and bank the mana. If the sword does damage you are untapping land again so you can tap out and bank the mana if you know you are going to hit with it. The Seedguide will be target for exile since it puts any three forests (not just basics) on your battlefield when it dies. 40 lands is a lot you might be able to cut a couple for these cards.
Instead of Prosperity I would use Blue Sun's Zenith because you can target one person (yourself prefered) and it shuffles back into your deck. Odds are you are not going to generate enough mana to deck your opponents and you might even deck yourself. It is far better to just draw 10+ cards and keep them than to let your opponent keep his best 7 that he drew to deal with your board. Also consider Interpret the Signs with your high mana curve you should be able to replenish your hand pretty well with one card.
Finally how about Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds to thin your deck of lands so you can draw your good stuff faster. Alchemist's Refuge would be an excellent addition to this deck. The ability to flash in an eldrazi during an opponents end phase and allowing you to attack with the annihilator ability is absolutely devastating. Scroll Rack would be an excellent use to take the extra lands you have in your hand and exchange them for better cards (plus with the search lands you can shuffle down the lands) or you can set up your card draw with Interprit the Signs or abuse it with Nissa to get your killer eldrazi out for free.

Simon_Williamson Chasm Skulker does sound like a very good creature for pressure and beatdown, I'll add him to the maybeboard for now. :) I really like Interpret the Signs, because of the draw power it provides. Arcanis is a tad slow, but he really helps with hand advantage. My only concern is that I may not have enough mana for his casting cost, though Enter the Infinite is doable (that card is a win condition on its own with Inner Fire and Comet Storm). I'll definitely add in Omniscience to the Upgrade section, I don't know why it wasn't there in the first place, haha. I honestly think Grafted Exoskeleton could definitely warrant a spot, I did have one lying around at one point, but traded it because I had no use for it at the time. I may want to cut down on the infect because people generally hate Infect.
Thanks for the suggestions and +1!
