This is the unnatural abomination of two deck ideas I have had for awhile. One, is an Oblivion Ring tribal deck. Basically, a deck built around a series of enchantment cards that ETB to remove some kind of nonland permanent from the field. Usually, once the enchantment is removed, the creature comes back. This type of deck has many strengths. One, lots of removal. Two, can have enchantresses as draw engines. Three, enchantments are probably the hardest permanent type to remove, especially for black and red decks. Weaknesses, they will target you, or remove your enchantments and just get their stuff back anyway. But that brings the second deck idea I had, a Containment Priest themed deck.

Containment Priest basically makes it so the O-ring effects are permanents for any creature you target. It has some strengths too. Your opponent can't cheat stuff into play. You can flicker stuff with cards like Flicker to bounce an Oblivion Ring, returning that creature to play but if the priest is out, its exiled instead. You can bounce in response to a removal spell as well. Good to note, if you flicker the priest while also flickering your other creatures through something like Ghostway, the priest won't exile anything it entered with.

This deck was originally mono white, then azorius, now it is bant. It allows for some more creature tutoring with things like Chord of Calling. The Priest isn't absolutely needed to have this deck function, but it does boost its effectiveness. I also didn't go all in on enchantments, due to the split. I hate having all my mana and removal and creatures be enchantments, cause a single Austre's Command just wrecks you completely.

Some cards to note:

Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines makes it so your enchantments remove 2 permanents, since they are all ETB effects (she was the original commander when it was mono white). Flash effects like Leyline of Anticipation make the enchantments just as good as most removal. Parallax Wave with Containment Priest is a two card combo to remove 5 creatures basically

I have a lot of cards in the maybe board. For various reasons, I didn't include them. Cutting for this deck was rough since it is kind of going in two different themes that compliment each other.
