This is a great deck! i think, though, that Orbs of Warding can be replaced with Ghostly Prison.

If you're even looking for suggestions, please take a look at my Avacyn deck, Avacyn, Herald of Destruction

InnistradAngel hey thanks man, your deck is really solid and after seeing Mind's Eye in it I'm swapping out Howling Mine. Minds Eye is better card draw. I actually have Norn's Annex as a cheap Ghostly Prison to save a few bucks, it works a little better two because no one in my playgroup runs white. Orbs is here for specific decks like this one

Thank you for the suggestions though!

I recommend getting rid of Plea for Guidance for it has a costly CMC and you're at ~4 CMC. Which is why I can pummel you with my measly Purphoros, Forger of Goblins token deck. read this sarcastically and add a malicious laugh afterwards

Seriously though, I mentioned this before, scrap White Sun's Zenith. I understand you want it for the lifegain aspect, but it's not great and it is not an angel theme (even humans, soldiers, knights, and kor count more towards angel tribal...).

I almost recommend taking out one or so board wipes (leave 2, maybe 3).

Archangel of Tithes should be in here, possibly to replace one of the cards I mentioned. And DUDE, where is your Herald of War?!? With Herald, there is even more reason to scrap the "cats of Zenith" plan. Also cut Jazal Goldmane.

I'm just trying to help out. With angel tribal, use as many angels as possible and to fill in gaps and lower CMC, use humans.

Hope that helps bro.

Open the Armory gets what I need early game,Plea for Guidance is good once I'm set up and can get anything I want out.Herald of War felted off with no humans, but for a low drop that will grow she is worth it. Archangel of Tithes good but I REFUSE to spend $20 on a $3 card. When it rotates out of the starndard sewer of despair, I will add her but again she feels like she's not living up to her full potential. Norn's Annex is over looked so much but does a pretty good job and I would argue better than Ghostly Prison in this deck. Man, I know I hate the fact that it's cats... But White Sun's Zenith just does so much work here, if you have more angel token generation let me know but I think Entreat the Angels is close to it. I don't even want the cats but it gets me life and stacks SO many counters bro. Ajanis dead brother is ok here but he will prolly get get in the future. Appreciate the advice mang freakingShane

You're right that Entreat the Angels is basically the angel version of White Sun's Zenith...so again, cut freaking Zenith! Cut Ajani's dead brother too, and you'll be on a better track.

You don't need Ghostly Prison, well, not for the price it is at. If you were playing blue then go for Propaganda and save about $10. You aren't though, so don't fret about it.

Plea for Guidance is like the "grown up" version of Open the Armory, so it does not need to be cut.

Here are some things I am just going to drop on you though: Sigil of the Empty Throne (REPLACE THIS FOR ZENITH!!!), Enlightened Tutor (this could replace Open the Armory), Greater Auramancy, Flickering Ward, Ivory Mask, Story Circle, and Worship + Near-Death Experience could be fun.

freakingShane ok man Sigil of the Empty Throne is good but currently I would get about 7 Angels with all the enchantments that I have. Its good but by the time I'm in a position where I can play it I'm not getting very much. With the non shitty version of Enlightened Tutor with the raisin guy on it I can justify it, plus it can fetch for Platinum Angel. Flickering Ward is a good include. Near-Death Experience + Worship is a cool combo, but again Worship has spiked and I'm not buying it now, shame though. Story Circle good card. Good suggestions.

This is a lot better, but I would recommend getting rid of Expedition Map unless you plan to run Serra's Sanctum in here. I guess Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx is good to fetch, but other than that there aren't any lands worth using a whole slot for fetching only.

Speaking of lands, Temple of the False God is soon bad when it backfires. I would not consider it a staple. I will conclude this micro-rant by stating how mono-W does need all the ramp it can get, so if you insist on running it, go for it.

Sigil of the Empty Throne is still a great card. As well as Shielded by Faith and Indestructibility. The latter two combo with Pariah to prevent taking damage. Look, I get it. Avacyn, Angel of Hope gives everyone indestructibility, but what if you have Shielded by Faith, Pariah, and Angel of Jubilation by turn 5? Stall the game and win through the long game.

Overall the deck is significantly better. I approve. Especially because you through in Magus of the Moat, Crackdown, and Spelltithe Enforcer with all of the other tax and penalty cards.

McSleuthburgerthank you for the suggestion, I could see that having a place in here. I will play test it and see what I think

Might I suggest Quicksilver Amulet?

September 25, 2017 11:51 a.m.

AntiRivet to be honest that is something that I hadn't considered for in here. but it sure does fit. Going through my curve it will help a lot with my bigger drops. The question now is if I need to cut some of the bigger stuff or make room for QA. Either way thank you for your suggestion its given me something to think about!

Have you thought about adding in Gideon of the Trials? With Avacyn out your creatures are indestructible and can block for him forever, making him ultra-hard to get rid of. He also protects against infect and mill. Looks like a pain in the ass, and I say that as a positive compliment of course ;) +1

Snap157 thank you, happy to hear that it looks like a pain haha. To be honest I usually ignore cards that had a big rush in standard (mostly because of the price tags) but I am trying to lower my CMC and not be so reliant on my high drops. Gideon has that protection. I will playtest with him to see if I could cut a big drop like platangel and add him instead. Than you for the suggestion!
