This is my Karlov of the Ghost Council EDH deck. The main point of it is to use cheap cards, such as Ajani's Mantra and Soulmender to gain as much life as possible to put counters on Karlov. Once the counters are on, I can get rid of other pesky creatures or, if possible, I can use cards such as Whispersilk Cloak to make it unblockable and kill my opponents with commander damage. The deck has been working very well during my practice games on untap.in and can be made budget pretty easily if cards like Serra Ascendant are substituted for other cards like Marble Chalice. +1's, comments, and suggestions are much appreciated.

Maybeboard has budget options, and can bring down the price to around $70!
