Dega Sanctuary

Enchantment

At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a black or red permanent, you gain 2 life. If you control a black permanent and a red permanent, you gain 4 life instead.

Thanks man, she is a lot of fun to play. My Varolz deck was also Voltron-ish and I think she's cooler so I'm gonna rework him into a Jarad deck I think.

Took a second look over your deck, if you're looking to make room I would take out Soul's Attendant and Dega Sanctuary for whatever you wanted out of your sideboard, then swap Cradle of Vitality for Sunbond, forget about the cost.

I tried Dega Sactuary, it's alright, but I would prefer Martyr, Spellbomb, or Gonti's Machinations over it. Soul's Attendant is good for stuff like Ajani's Pridemate, but doesn't really help you with Licia. Just my two cents. I like the list though.

@PaulaTicks: Kalamne is a cutie as well! never built with her but was tempted.

I'm very curious about the copy effects you mentioned.. Licia does read 'Activate this only once'.. would the copy from Rings of Brighthearth or Illusionist's Bracers even work or is it restricted by the wording?

The Dega Sanctuary looks nice yeah, hopefully they'll reprint it because I personally don't like these older looks.

Just like Kalemne, I'm ready to straight murder people with a Voltron commander that's immediately disregarded as boring. Some cards I've thrown into mine so far include

Dega Sanctuary, Glistening Oil , Chandra's Ignition, Illusionist's Bracers, Rings of Brighthearth, Wall of Reverence and Hatred

I like what you've done so far, more Vampire tribal than just voltron but all the lifelink seems like it will make her much easier to cast.

Here are some things that I would fix.

1) Get the land up to 37. That's a must in every commander deck.

2) I would try to find more things that don't just shuffle your graveyard into your library, but instead puts things from your yard into you hand in multiples. For example, Seasons Past could return multiple curses to your hand either after you eliminate someone or someone does a board wipe for enchantments. Shuffling so you can draw is fine, but to the hand is much better.

3) Please replace Akroma's Vengeance with something else. Your deck is all about enchantments, you probably want them to stay on the board, yes? And whereas Enchanted Evening is neat, and casting Akroma's Vengeance with it in play seems like a way to make everyone laugh and then cry, I'm not sure resetting the game is what your deck really wants. And if you're trying to build around that with Avacyn, I don't think it's a throw in combo to this deck- it's probably more of a build around.

4) I still think you have a number of cards in here that don't help your deck (like Dega Sanctuary but since you're already short 10 land there's no need to suggest replacements that aren't... well, land.

I'd work on this and then go from there.

I would lose a lot of the redundant life gain that isn't doing you much good; anything that is just little bits of passive life gain. It won't win you a game on its own. Namely Ajani's Mantra, Dega Sanctuary, and all of the Honden's. Sun Droplet is also just super slow and could be replaced with more pillowfort, removal, or taxation. Venser's Journal would be a good addition. Phyrexian Arena is a must. Wound Reflection would be pretty good too!
