Doran, started out as a treefolk tribal, got boring and slowly transitioned into a deck that cares all about toughness. no walls in this build either. several "mild" hatebear cards synergize very well with this theme. Ensnaring Bridge, Crackdown, Meekstone, Marble Titan, Noetic Scales pull a lot of weight because most our creatures are below 3 thoughness. also removed all recursion mechanics and am therefore running a lot of GYhate since my meta plays very GY heavy. the deck is capable of gaining a lot of life Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper, Sapling of Colfenor, Verdant Sun's Avatar, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. wrath effects like Dusk / Dawn, Fell the Mighty, Wave of Reckoning, Slaughter the Strong leave our board unaffected setting us ahead of the table. - 1.3.2023
