Of course, as soon as I made my Daxos list they released another amazing hatebear-y/staxy commander. This time with a life gain/semi-suicidal twist. Imagine: Selenia, Dark Angel but less jank.

We want to get our life total very very high or very very low. By getting it high we can blast people with Aetherflux Reservoir or one of two alternate wins through attacking and dealing damage with Angel of Destiny or Test of Endurance, or getting it low with Necropotence, Wall of Blood, or other life payments we can win through Near-Death Experience. We can also hatred to one-shot opponents with commander damage, and then immediately potentially gain it back with Exquisite Blood. Our commander is also really great to get us low with her life-for-commander tax ability. And Vilis goes amaaaaazing with her, drawing us a ton of cards when we cast her. We also have ways to sacrifice her to allow us to trigger the life payments ourselves as needed.

We have a few infinite combos to win with besides that.

Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux + Sensei's Divining Top allows us to continually gain a life "storm count" until we get enough life to use Aetherflux at everyone.

Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood + Us gaining life or an opponent losing life allows us to drain someone out.

And finally, we have Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista. Make sure Ballista has at least two counters on it, activate Heliod to give it lifelink. Remove a counter to ping an opponent. Heliod puts a counter back on it. Repeat until death.

This is the sort of Orzhov commander I really want to build, to the point I'd be willing to take apart decks to do so when she's released.
