Creature (1)

Nethroi, Apex of Death + Umori, the Collector all creatures

Cast Umori in the early game to get your ramp and utility creatures out earlier. Try to hit your other mutate creatures with mutated Nethroi for repeatable value.

Try to ramp out and fill your graveyard as soon as possible, as we want to mutate Nethroi at least twice each game. Primary ramp pieces: - Karametra, God of Harvests - Burnished Hart - Fertilid - Migratory Greathorn - Springbloom Druid

Probably the best thing to do before casting Nethroi is to board wipe, which will fill our graveyard as well, and that is what this deck wants anyway. Board wipes: - Deathbringer Regent - Massacre Girl - Cataclysmic Gearhulk

Finishing the game usually assumes draining opponents with a combination of free sac outlets and aristocrats. Free sacrifice outlets: - Viscera Seer - Carrion Feeder - Yahenni, Undying Partisan - Woe Strider Finishers: - Zulaport Cutthroat - Syr Konrad, the Grim (all star in this deck) - Cruel Celebrant - Poison-Tip Archer

Alternative combo for closing out the game involves Corpse Knight + Izoni, Thousand-Eyed (don't worry, this is much easier to set-up than it looks). This will often drain them for 15+ life in a single instance, and it's hard to see it coming as it is a bit counter-intuitive for this strategy.

We also run a couple of tutors to help us if we fall behind. Tutors: - Rune-Scarred Demon - Sidisi, Undead Vizier - Fierce Empath - Dimir House Guard

Majority of other cards in the deck are either removal creatures or situational value creatures, which helps us control the game and be a little proactive.

There are really unlimited ways to tweak, update and power-up this deck, which ever suits your play style. It can literally be constructed from draft chaff (as my version started) and little by little be pushed towards a 7 or an 8 on the power scale, depending on your playgroup. In term this means that it is very new player friendly and can be updated and powered-up over time.
