The idea is to keep my opponents without cards in their hands while I mill away the rest of their deck, but I probably need more / better discard cards for that.

The high toughness walls (Wall of Frost, Glacial Wall and Wall of Mist) can be used with Phenax, God of Deception to Mill if they're not needed for blocking. Similarly I try to have creatures in the deck with a good mana to toughness ratio for use with Phenax.

Key combos

• Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage Duskmantle's first ability with mindcrank can infinite combo a player out of cards and life. Muddle the Mixture could transmute for either of these

• Siren of the Silent Song + Freed from the Real is good to make my opponents discard their hand. If that can be combined with Shrieking Affliction or Quest for the Nihil Stone all the better, but the main point is to cripple them to prevent them from stopping me while I Mill. Note: Perplex can be transmuted for either Siren or Freed if necessary.

• Traumatize + Fraying Sanity is a single turn full mill for a target player.

• Palinchron + either Phantasmal Image or Phyrexian Metamorph (and 7+ lands) for infinite mana.

  How to get infinite mana from Palinchron cloning? Show

  This is done by tapping 7 lands into your mana pool when you play the clone (retaining 3 to 5 in mana pool on top of your 7 lands that untap) tap them all again and only using 4 of that to bounce a Palinchron to your hand and back netting you at least 11 mana each cycle. This can be repeated as many times as you need.
  Put all that mana into Mind Grind or Increasing Confusion or Torment of Hailfire as a finisher.
