Played against a guy at a LGS I don't normally go who had this deck, the guy was a total tool, but I liked the deck itself, so I'm taking my own spin on it. This is meant to be a control deck. Rashmi being able to net you extra cards even if it doesn't technically count as card draw(Sorry Chasm Skulker ) is still really good. Once I get Rashmi down with some counter magic to protect her, the games where I've played this deck quickly slide into my favor due to pure card advantage. Even if I flip counterspells off of Rashmi, making the board play around them is still pretty powerful as far as the politics go. I've also had the rare interaction of a player playing something I have an instant speed response and then flipping into a free counterspell. Its rare and it's interactions are weird, but it has happened.

Sensei's Divining Top and Leyline of Anticipation are on the short list of cards to get for the deck. What this deck really needs is finishers. Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is one of them but I need a few more cards that can win the game for me.
