Even though the Secret Lair debacle is absurd, Daryl looks neat, even if he's better in the 99 (We lose a lot of options by not playing Blue or Black). Here's a general shell, modified from Atarka with some additions. Unfortunately there don't appear to be any cards that modify your opponent's creature types in Gruul, nor that give your opponents Zombies. If you find any, please let me know!

Some combos using Daryl specifically:

Daryl, Hunter of Walkers + Strionic Resonator and Daryl, Hunter of Walkers + Lithoform Engine : Allows you to copy the Zombies on upkeep or card draw triggers.

Daryl, Hunter of Walkers + Thornbite Staff : Ping Zombies for 2, Thornbite Staff untaps him afterwards.

AEther Flash + Daryl, Hunter of Walkers : Automatically pings Zombies for 2.

Use the above with Dingus Staff for 6 extra damage to a player when the Zombies die.

Use the above with Burning Sands to destroy 3 lands from a single player.

Use the above with Essence Warden to gain 3 life in the process.

Use the above with Compost to draw an extra card for each black Zombie death (It won't work on the tokens, but still useful in primarily-black metas).

Primal Vigor also allows you to make 6 tokens a turn instead of 3.
