Welcome to my superfriends; the Skyship Weatherlight crew.

My build for Captain Sisay began as an excuse in EDH to run big, scary legends at the hand of an ever-present tutor for them. Over the years, she has evolved into an inclusive toolbox deck with numbering variables capable in just about any competitive or casual setting. Her tempo can be adjusted to however you prefer to play, your opponents, or whatever mood you may be in that day / game. I have fine tuned her to be aware of any strategy launched with or against her, and in near any tight spot you can count on Sisay to have an answer.

My deck's initiatory goal is to ramp hard early to rush the Captain out ASAP. Getting her online is a great opening move and--regardless of the turn count--an online Cap is a threatening one. Occasionally, depending on your play style and opening hand / initial draws, it can be beneficial to choose to open your board with another spell prior to casting the Cap to hasten the threat of the deck (Vedalken Orrery or Linvala, Keeper of Silence are prime examples). Putting protection on Sisay is also a smart play once she's on the field, especially against experienced opponents that may recognize the potential of her board presence. Considering her abusive activated ability of simply tapping, haste enablers or ability copiers serve to be terrifying presences on your field early on, as well (Lightning Greaves or Thousand-Year Elixir are top Sisay enablers to get searching the first turn she hits; the Elixir and Rings of Brighthearth are primo ability doublers).
