"Are you paying for Esper???"

This phrase inspired and haunted me for weeks.

Anyone who is playing Esper in their decks, I don't care who they say their commander is, they're lying. It's actually Esper. Because the minute that he drops on the battlefield, they forget about everything else and can suddenly only remember how to say his name. Everything else in their hearts gets exiled until Esper Sentinel leaves play.

ANYWAY... Rant over. Um. This deck does other cool things too. I'm really content with the land drops/enchantments/creatures/artifacts that generate land. Never been mana screwed. It's mono-white. It ain't that complicated, and we aim to keep it that way.

Ok fine. You caught me. It's a Voltron deck.

Not a crazy one. It's got some jank. I don't like to counter what other people are doing. I'm more interested in letting my opponents become threats and then see if I can still take them out. Don't get me wrong. It's an awesome deck that will hold its own pretty well. Performs well. I'm usually pretty quickly identified as a threat in 7-9 power EDH games, but I aim for a low-sodium play experience, so I'm not as focused on control as I am at keeping up where at all possible.
