I wanted to experiment with mono-black mana doubling, so I made this. Lots of strong removal to interfere with the opponent's game plan, backed by a suite of devastating, hopefully not-so-late-game plays.

There's nothing quite like T1 - Sol Ring T2 - Thran Dynamo T3 - Gauntlet of Power + Crypt Ghast to let your opponents know you mean business.

Once this was actually followed by Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger + Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre in a single turn! Hard to beat that kind of ramp.
