What if Meren... But fair?

This Meren deck has Umori as the Companion, which means that all nonland cards in our deck have to share a card type. In this case, obviously creatures.

Meren is an extremely powerful commander, but limiting the deck to only creatures balances things out and made for a really fun deck idea to build.

I ultimately settled for Gary or Kokusho recursion as the main win con, but there's a fun central idea here which you can easily put your own spin on. Add a Sheoldred if you want, or remove some of the ramp creatures and jam some human synergies in there... I don't recommend it, but hey, what do I know?! Do what you want!

This is far from an optimised version of this idea, but I tell you what... It wins. Often. And your opponents can't whinge because you're literally just running creatures, while they have access to counter spells, board wipes, powerful enchantments and artifacts etc. It's just an immensely satisfying deck to pilot.
