Old Stickfingers
Legendary Creature — Horror
When you cast this spell, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal X creature cards. Put all creature cards revealed this way into your graveyard, then put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
This creature's power and toughness are each equal to the number of creature cards in your graveyard.

Kazierts Thanks for the thoughts! Old Stickfingers dumping a bunch of slimes in the graveyard is actually really interesting and I hadn't considered that. Might be worthy of a whole new build actually. I did consider some other commanders for Golgari Slime, the main one was Pippin, Warden of Isengard to enable haste. Haste is huge for this deck. I ultimately went with Umori however, mostly for flavor reasons, and also the discount IS actually very relevant for setting up plays like Thrumming Stone -> cast Slime same turn, esp. because the deck is pretty thin on traditional ramp. Umori is also just a nice thicc body which helps deter aggro while setting up. Like I said in my reply on your slime list, fitting 43 slimes (ideal number from my playtesting) makes this list very tight so it's hard to find room for more protection spells, or more anything really. Lightning Greaves and Heroic Intervention are the ones I run, mostly the deck finds resiliency from being able to recast Slime over and over again, also using Yawgmoth's Will and Regrowth to do so even if you've exiled most of your copies. Thanks again for checking out the deck and for your thoughts!
EDIT: Ah actually I just reread Old Sticky and I don't think it will work here, as he BOTTOMS all noncreats revealed from his ability. Man I got excited for a second there :P Never played Stickfingers personally but I know he can be super powerful.

Interesting idea to exile your own extract yourself to boost Slime Against Humanity. However, this deck seems rather fragile to boardwipes. For a list so focused on combat, it would be a good idea to have some more protection in case of a boardwipe. The first ones that come to mind are Wrap in Vigor and Dark Dabbling.
Also, I don't think Umori, the Collector is the best commander for it. Sure, you get a discount for each slime, but that seems very week. For , considering you only have 3 creatures, you could run Old Stickfingers and dump almost your entire deck and you wouldn't need to exile most of your copies.
I cannot think of a lot of utility lands of the top of my head, but Oran-Rief, the Vastwood would probably be a good way to pump the slimes while also being hard to interact.

Grist commander deck need help
Guy I see your post and I really like your deck the only thing I want to say is, you really don't need Arasta of the Endless Web, Blex, Vexing Pest Flip, Honest Rutstein, Izoni, Thousand-Eyed, Old Rutstein and Old Stickfingers. because these isn't insects. you may put some recursion on the deck (dont forget to add the grist to the command zone) and lhurgoyf stuff would be good to... take a look to the Lhurgoyfs
Please look my deck of kefnet if you can

Meren, Clan of Nel Toth

One of my favourite things to do in Meren is to ramp (my deck is on the clunkier side, and it runs very few lands), and one of the better ways to repeatedly ramp is to use more stuff like Sakura Tribe Elder, variations include Diligent Farmhand, Dawntreader Elk, Yavimaya Granger, and maybe Burnished Hart/Fertilid. All of these can find a Swamp for you, each sacrifices itself and thus they have some nice synergy with Meren. I think the only Meren decks that don't want multiples of that effect is if they are building a very high powered list, where this kind of play 'isn't advancing your board' sufficiently. I often find that farming XP isn't a waste of time early, so these recursive ramp sources offer that as well. I think it's very hard to justify running land ramp Sorceries when you can run creatures that do the same thing, and arguably do a better job of it. I would also shave stuff like Arcane Signet or the Talisman for creature ramp, Meren can't recur your rocks for you when they get blown up. In addition to Meren there are tons of things that synergize with creatures, stuff like Beast Whisperer and Liliana's Standard Bearer can draw lots of cards via creatures, and you don't get that synergy with a 2 mana rock. Using Meren to recur Liliana's Standard Bearer is a pretty impressive bulk draw option.
Some generically good cards for a Meren list that I love are Buried Alive, Final Parting, and Jarad's Orders, each of these offers real tutoring power, and none are especially pricey. Buried Alive can find a whole combo for you to win with. Old Stickfingers is probably worth a look for the similar reasons, Meren feels really weak if you have no creatures in your yard to reanimate. I'm not sure if it's too high budget, but Fiend Artisan has a lot of synergy with Meren. You don't have to dig out a combo piece for the card to do useful things.
In my Meren deck it's a much better Rhystic Study (I run a very high creature count), but I suspect you'd get some value out of Lurking Predators. There is also Heartwood Storyteller, in my experience both belong in a deck with even more creatures but they could still be useful I think.
In my limited experience Callous Bloodmage offers pretty good graveyard hate on a very low budget, and if you don't need that it can do other stuff, it's a great card to use in infinite loop since it can do a few useful things.
Mitotic Slime offers you a ton of bodies for only 5 mana, it's not especially hard to go infinite with as a result. I like using it with Demon of Dark Schemes and Pitiless Plunderer (and a sac outlet) to win, the nicest part about using a combo like this is that each piece is independently good. Phyrexian Altar is better than Plunderer, but it's even more money (though the difference has dropped sharply).
Dawnstrider is an extra Spore Frog, one that doesn't require reanimation but offers a discard outlet, letting you put creatures in your graveyard. Silverglade Pathfinder is another discard outlet, but offers ramp instead.
I hope this isn't too try-hard for your deck, Meren is a very fun Commander to build.

The pioneer GOYF - A selfmill deck

Thank you for letting me know i plan on checking out some cards and replacing with some good ideas for it. I've had ideas for Old Stickfingers in the deck and maybe sideboarding Ashiok, Dream Render I'm definitely upgrading the land base to some more expensive lands and that should make the deck synergize a lot more I hope. Thank you so much for letting me know what best changes need to be made. I greatly appreciate your help. I cant wait to see your new decks for sure.

I'm going to keep an eye on this deck for ideas for my own decks! Haha I Love the graveyard decks. I have an Abzan one where Buried Alive is a pretty key card. Is there a reason you have it as just a "maybe"?
Mill decks scare me (to play with) because I don't like not controlling what goes into my graveyard, especially if I don't have ways to recur instants and sorceries discarded that way. (Which is why I like that Golgari gives me access to cards like Old Stickfingers.

@vehiclemaster - Cemetery Tampering looks slow, after casting this, it doesn't affect anything yet.. might playtest it first.. Shakedown Heavy has a lot of hoops to go through just draw a card.. and Topiary Stomper is a one time ramp only, and doesn't affect the board if i draw it very early.. The dispensable creatures i have for ramp feels better.. thanks for the suggestions though..
@RoxieRoxie - Ambitious Dragonborn is lacking compared to other big creatures i have already included in the deck.. like Carrion Grub, Old Stickfingers and Wall of Blood are much better.. Ancient Brass Dragon looks like a fun card though.. might be a card that overturn the situation of the game.. might consider it, but not soon.. since it's still costs high as of the moment.. thanks for the suggestions!
@Tiyos99 - thanks for the suggestions.. although Circle of the Land Druid is an okay disposable land recursion and self milling cheap creature, other options already included in the deck is much better w/o waiting for it to die.. Gray Slaad is not good.. aside from the adventure side of it, the payoff of having 4 or more creatures in the graveyard is underwhelming..

Cool deck! I am currently working on a kathril deck as well and this gave me some good inspiration. You can check it out if you want ;)
As you already mentioned i would defininetly consider adding Old Stickfingers. Unlike most of the other selfmill spells this one only adds creatures, so you are not burning any other stuff that you want in your hand and not in your graveyard. And the thing gets bigger and bigger as long as the game goes on.
Also Oriq Loremage is really nice who basically works as a permanent tutor for your graveyard which is always nice to have
