Commander: Riku of Two Reflections

To fight monsters, we created monsters of our own.

Recently, a friend of mine decided he was going to make big Mono Blue Leviathan Stompy EDH, with Braids as the commander. I thought to myself, why not build a Mono Red Dragon EDH to play against in a fun kind of matchup. But then a thought came to me as I was durdling around with the deck: These leviathans and krakens are giant sea monsters....one could call them....KAIJU.

And thus it was born. He would build Mono Blue Kaiju Sea Monsters while I would build the opposing Jaeger deck, filled with the biggest artifact creatures going: Blightsteel Colossus, Platinum Emperion and everyone's favourite classical world Jaeger, Colossus of Akros. It's a shame Sundering Titan is banned. He would've been a good ol' mech.

But what would these giant bots do without the pilots who operate them? Why that's for the great Jaeger pilot, Riku of Two Reflections, and his co-pilots Memnarch and Arcum Dagsson. The deck also features the first ever Jaeger to pilot itself: Karn, Silver Golem !

The deck's idea is plain and simple: Bring out the biggest, hulking machines you can assemble and hurl them at the biggest blue toughies yet, Tromokratis , Lorthos, the Tidemaker and the rift-born Deep-Sea Kraken .

Go big or go extinct.
